hitch 'em up, move 'em out
| We just got this item and haven't installed it yet. My husbands wing already has a hidden hitch, but my bike now needs one, since we FINALLY found a Wags pet trailer for our dogs. But in searching the web, this is by far the best price. It's heavy duty and looks to be well made. We appreciate the pictorial install instructions directly linked on the product page. |

It's so nice I did it twice...
| I have actually bought 2 of these one is installed on my 2003 GL1800 with a Hannigan Sidecar and the other is on my Gl1800 Navi 2 wheeler. Did first install in April and another in May. Sidecar wsas more of a challenge but only took a little longer. The 2 wheeler was easier as a normal install took less than 2 hours even with a coffee break included.... now I can take the trailer with either bike. |

Tight fit

Great Product At A Great Price
| I purchased this hitch four years ago for my 2004 and last year installed it on my 2007 and it has worked perfectly. When installing leave all bolts loose until you get everything lined up and then tighten. Some pulling and prying is required to line up the holes and on my 2007 the amp box caused a little more work but it did go in place. Also remember to retighten all bolts and or use locktite as I found one worked it's way loose after a season. Good Buy From Wingstuff |

Supreme test!
| Had this hitch on my '03 wing for 5 yrs , no problems. Then I take a trip to Alaska and get rear ended by another m/c. I was stopped and he was doing about 30 mph. The ball on the hitch took the brunt of the hit.....bent the receiver hitch bracket (behind fender) in and broke two welds, but it held!This is one tough hitch.....saved the rear of my wing from a lot of damage!! |

Stripped set bolt
| After about two years of limited use with the hitch, The set bolt which tightens the ball assembly after being inserted to the hitch has stripped. I assume I tightened it too much, but wonder if others have had this issue? Otherwise the hitch has been fantastic except I personally feel the safety chain loops should be outside the bike instead of underneath. If your lost a trailer, you probably would damage the cycle. |

Easy installation
| I used the updated installation instructions which made it very easy to install. Was done in about 2 1/2 hours and hitch is very solid. Can't wait to hook up the trailer and try it out. |

Good hitch for the price
| This hitch is solid and was fairly easy to install. Key for me was my dad and an extra set of hands. Directions could be a little better as to which nuts and bolts will be used on which model years. Other than that I am very satisfied. |

Great hitch for the price
| Took a little finessing for the forward bolt on the side arms but other than that it was a easy installation and it is a well made hitch for the money. |
