Collapse and Don't remain extended -- not recommended.
| Read the reviews prior to buying and saw some people had issues with the poles collapsing. So I called Rivco and spoke to someone about this I issue. He said he hadn't heard about this problem and told him a couple people on this site mentioned collapsed poles or having to use duct tape to secure them. I told him the reviews were 10 years or older and asked if they have improved the locking collar. It sounded l I ke they did so I bought 3 for PGR escorts. Well, right out of the box they collapsed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Going to see if Wingstuff will give me a refund. |

Don't Waste Your Money or Time on This

I ride with the Patriot Guard. I have 2 of them and have used 2 0f them only for a flag line so there was non stress placed on them flying down the road. Even though the concept is nice, performance is a big 0. The poles wouldn't stay extended and when I did have to put them away, I had to fight with them to go into the "stow" position. I am going to ask Wingstuff for a refund and try something different. AGAIN, AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.....DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT. |

Rivco flag poles
| Worked good the first 2 times. After that the poles consistently collapse during parades. Talked to others with these poles and they carry duct tape and tape the joints so the pole does not collapse. But that is a pain after the parade since you then have to remove all that tape. And yes I am locking each joint correctly |

| I liked the idea of the telescoping to store in trunk of trike however the locking portion of pole does not have long wear. A few of the locking collars do not work as well anymore. I have seen a similar pole that is a section longer which is better hoewever locking collars had the same problem. |

| Even if you did not but the trailer hitch this flag pole is great.Very easy to fold up and down and can fit in any saddle bags out there. |
