| Been looking for a way to rotate the handle bar controls to where I can see them, these risers do the trick, I am 6ft 3 inches and they rotate the controls by raising them 1 1/2 inches and rotating them to where I can easily see them now, plus my shoulder is more relaxed when riding. |

Great addition
| I do not know why i waited so long and had sore shoulders and neck . After installing the Riser shims ( 30 min max) i did a 180 mile run no more shoulder pain and no more neck pain plus i sit straighter so less strain on hands and back. 6'.2" love the ride now. |

Lifted for comfort
| I had purchased these shims not knowing what to expect. Wow what a difference in ride comfort, I'm 6'2" and have trouble with my shoulders. I had my friend help me (just made it easier to do) install these shims and the relief was almost instant. I now can ride all day with little to no discomfort from having to lean over. Great addition to a great bike. |

20K miles later
| I have found that after a short time that the bars feel correct... In the past they always felt too low. Biggest plus was when running the back roads of Santa Cruz the bars give more room for "Lock to Lock" turns. |

Shims
| being 6'4" Most people say I look like I'm riding a sports bike instead of a wing, all crunched over., Handlebars hits my long legs in tight turns. Yep, It was a pain in the ARSE !!!!! I just installed the shims, OMG !!! what a difference !!! no more pain in the shoulders, not cramping in my hands. easier reach for the control buttons, and most of all the bars are no longer hitting my legs, I can now make tight u turns. It fells like a whole new bike. I'm loving it !!! |

Wow What change in Riding Position
| These little shims made such a change in ride position it is hard to believe. As one reviewer put it "cozy riding position" I would have to agree. The installation should take about 45 minutes however mine took almost 3 hours due to dropping a screw and it disappeared down into the bike. Which I had to disassemble the fairing before I could retrieve it with a magnet. Therefore be very careful with the screws and you will be done in no time. |

| Wish I had installed these 6 years ago. I'm 6'4" and the little extra height on the handle bars makes all the difference in the world. Would recommend to anyone with long legs amd arms. |
