These are a great upgrade. If you already have the fog lights, it's an easy install. I added these when I did the LED running lights/turn signals and upgraded my headlights to LED. VERY cool front end with lots of light to keep me safer. However: they are not as bright as I expected. That was a disappointment. Having them adjustable helps with that issue....but my disappointment in the brightness...and for that price?...gets them 4 stars instead of 5.
Always a great fit. Ships wrapped in cellophane for protection. I order one just about every time I order anything from Wingstuff, just to have them on hand. Get a package of crush washers and the oil change tool while yer at it!
If you're thinking of getting a belly pan....do it. Mine have saved me twice. Hit something hard underneath when I was a long way from home....on two different occasions....and these things save your criticals from damage.I've installed 3 belly pans on my 2006 Wing. First one I had was the heavier one. It was more difficult to install (and remove when you deal with coolant changes, etc). This one is my second of the thinner variety and they work just fine and are much easier to work with. The fit is great and everything underneath is protected. And it's less expensive. Do it !
I've had two or three of these over the years and am always happy to have a brand new on my 2006 Wing. It's plastic and takes a beating on the long trips.I see some folks have had trouble with the chrome coming off of the plastic. I've never had that hassle. Hopefully won't with this one.The install is simple enough...just be patient!AND (as has been stated in other reviews) DON'T FORGET TO GRAB THE UPPER CLIPS FROM THE OLD ONE WHEN YOU REMOVE IT.FYI: You will want to do the timing cover in chrome. :-)
This thing is awesome! I've tried a lot of different ways to keep my neck warm on colder rides....and this works best of anything I've had! Most gaiters are too tight or the material is too heavy....but this one works perfectly for me. Light weight and wicks nicely. Just enough stretch. Very comfortable. Oh...and it's an easy install...! :-)Gonna buy another in case I lose one!
These boards are fantastic quality! Great chrome....heavy duty....nice!Super easy install and everything looks terrific! 5 starsBUT: the brake pedal is much too high for me. I kept the boards and heel-toe shifter on the bike but put my old brake pedal cover back on. The brake pedal cover that came with this kit was really nice....just too high. I didn't feel I could safely and quickly find the brake in an emergency. Made me quite uneasy while riding. I'm 5'7 and don't see how someone taller would/could be comfortable with the high brake pedal. With my old cover back on, all is well.OH....AND: the machining of the heel toe shifter is not great. It works fine....but it's a little sloppy in front and doesn't line up all that great with the shifter. I had to make some fine tuning adjustments. IF YOU'VE NEVER HAD A HEEL TOE SHIFTER GET ONE! I've had one for years and it is a great addition to the bike. Quite a luxury!
This is a great item....a must have if you add boards. Really makes finding your kickstand a cinch! Super easy install.
There are times when aftermarket items are great. I’m sure this will offend a lot of people, but I feel strongly when it comes to brakes, you’re a lot better off with OEM parts. On my 2004 Goldwing that I had, I once tried an aftermarket brand of pads and it was a disaster. They did not last half as long as the OEM pads and they made noise. This will be the second set of OEM pads I have put on my 2018 Goldwing. No squeaks, no noise and they brake well.
Added these to my 2005. However, after changing my hand grips, I removed. These are a great addition for the bike, love these Dampeners was easy to install less than five minutes.
OK, Not of a good thick quality. Light weight.
Just purchased, hadn.t used them yet. Seem to be of good quality.
Nice comfortable fit thus far and breathable. No issues at this time.
