This is an update to last review. If you have the Baker lowers installed these pegs do not stick out far enough. My legs are pressed up against the lower part of the wings. It's like sitting bow legged. I'll see how they are when my new seat gets installed.
Product as described. Easy to put on and use. Only took a few minutes. Wife loves being able to shift her foot placement out since she is taller. Would recommend.
Was an easy hook up. Does take up more room under the seat.
The wires going to the back of the bike are at least 12 " too short. I had splice wires to the harness to reach fully to the rear of the bike. For $80+, they can another 18" to the harness.
Just put them on and find them brighter than factory
I have used Plexus for years and it does what it says it will do. It shines the bike and more than cleans the window, remember to use Micro Fiber cloth on your windshield to minimize scratches.
Look nice, but upon arrival even though it was still in its plastic wrap the pieces were still lightly scratched around the edges. It was also a bit difficult to install. If I hadn't been in a hurry to get the part I would have went them back. you don't see the blemish until you unwrap the part.
Just got this installed and it was exactly what I was looking for! Works great, looks nice!
I put these on and went on a 2000 mile tripe They are great. I am 6 ft2 they put me just right up and back Install was easy
Nice and bright day or night Easy install and wiring
I am very impressed with these lights. I placed them on my 2005 Goldwing. I especially like the illuminated button that came with it. The lights are very bright when the foglights are activated. They arrived within two weeks of ordering them. These are a great product.
I purchased these for my 2014 Goldwing as they were a cheaper option than the full floorboard style with pegs. The installation was quite simple, they have a clean look, and the pegs are easy to adjust up and down. The reason I didn't give them five stars is because of some design limitations. They are mounted between the frame and existing floorboards. At this point, the frame does not run parallel along the length of the bike, but is angled somewhat towards the engine. Goldwing riders will understand this. As a result, the pegs themselves are at an angle. It's the same reason the stock floorboards are "flared", so that they can compensate for the angle of the frame. This means the pegs aren't straight for the passenger to place their foot on. In addition, the size of the peg itself isn't quite wide enough for the passenger, at least in my case, to be able to put their feet squarely on the pegs. This is because they are close to the frame. The passenger ends up having to put their feet towards the outside end of the peg in order to be the most comfortable. If the pegs were perhaps 1 inch longer, that part of the problem would be solved. So, I would loosely recommend this product, as long as the buyer is willing to accept these limitations.
