| Ok so for the good. The gauntlets large opening is great they slide right over my winter coats sleeves with no issue. The gloves have great all over warmth and I was not able to detect any cold spots nor feel the heating wires as you can with some other brands. Now for the not so good. I normally wear an XL to 2XL glove so I went with the 2XL and they are still a little snug. I have ridden in temps from the mid 20s to mid 50s with these and have the following observations. In temps over about 48-50 they get very warm and the temp controller does need to be set down around a setting of 5 or 6 (this is on a scale of 0-9). In temps in the mid 20s they get warm but you will not need to adjust the temp setting as I was already maxed out at 9 and wished I have a 10 or 11 setting. I know most people do not ride in the mid 20s but for those who do these gloves will keep your hands from getting cold but you might wish they had just a bit more heat. I will say that I am using a Gerbing dual digital controller with the wireless setting controller. It is rated for 16amps and I am heating a pair of chaps at the same time so maybe if it was just the gloves they would get a little hotter. I will say my chaps get so warm in the mid 20s that I do have to turn the setting down to around 6. Over all these are good gloves, a tad bulky but hey I will gladly take some bulk for nice toasty hands on a 24 degree morning. The lifetime heating element warranty has to be the best on the market and that is ultimately what sold me on these and I am glad I bought them. |
| The pan is substantial enough to keep you from having bad damage but light enough that it’s not a too heavy on the bottom plastic pieces. The customer service rep told me the belly pan wouldn’t fit if you have Goldstrike Highway pegs. This is incorrect info. It will fit as the bolts for the Highway pegs are long enough that the right and left side brackets will fit behind the highway peg bracket. If you have Goldstrike pegs you absolutely can install the belly pan.Takes time to install with the pegs on but not too big of a hassle. Good product. |
| I purchased a Race Tech shock for my 2005 Goldwing last year. It took them nearly three months and a couple phone calls to get it delivered to me. I had my mechanic install it for me and when he did, he discovered the connector to the actuator was broken. He ended up using the one from my original. The shock worked great for awhile but after 16,000 I took my bike in for its annual maintenance. Mechanic said the shock is done. The seal blew and there is no more damping, just spring. I guess I just didn't notice. Anyway Race Tech told me today that my shock it out of warranty and will cost $400.00 to rebuild. She also told me they expect their shocks to need a rebuild each year and it's normal for the seals to go after 16,000 miles. I'm now in the market for a new shock but it won't be from Race Tech. I'm better off with a stock OEM than this. |
| This was the first thing I bought for my 21 Goldwing. Installed easily but still take your time as it's a bit tricky to install the bolts...I used tape to hold them after I positioned them to the frame and seat. You will understand why when you try to insert them. It's a good match to the standard 21 seat and was easily adjusted. I took about a ride and stopped several times to adjust it. Fit and finish are really good. Moves out of the way for my wife to get into the navigators seat...Highly recommend. |
| Easy to install . But don’t use the connectors supplied as they don’t crimp onto the thin wires . |
| This harness makes wiring in lights fast and easy. Very simple hook up. No splicing or cutting wires |
| The thickness of the plate should provide plenty of protection yet is still fairly light. Install is straight forward and worked fine with Goldstrike pegs. Cheap insurance to protect the lower engine. |
| I hesitated to purchase these for way too long. I have owned my beautiful 2018 Goldwing Tour for 8 months, and while I didn't absolutely HAVE to have these, I finally decided to order them, as my reach was just a tad bit more than I was comfortable with. So happy I finally made the decision. If you're on the fence, as I was, just make it happen! My stock bars are now 2+ inches closer to me, resulting in a much more comfortable posture now. |
| Very solid piece and what you can see of it, looks good. I have no doubt this would protect the engine from road debris . Great price for the added protection |
| My windshield arrived quickly. There was a small crack in the bottom center hole, but nothing to worry about. The dark tint looks great on my black bike. Installation was quick and easy. |
