Got this for my 2015, love it!
Below is a copy/paste of my complaint to NHTSA.gov about my experience with an Avon tire 130/70/R18. My bike is a 2010 Goldwing, combined weight of my wife and I is 280 lbs, baggage about 40 lbs. This bike is well-cared for and is stored in an air-conditioned garage when not on the road. Tires has 6000 miles on them. You would do well to avoid Avon's Cobra Chrome tires.Avon Cobra Chrome motorcycle tire 130/70R18. While driving on a California highway at 70 mph, I experienced a noticeable vibration in my handlebars. Thinking I may have a tire anomaly, I reduced speed and looked for a roadside area where I could stop the motorcycle and inspect the wheels and tires for damage. It took considerable effort to maintain control of the motorcycle as the front end felt as though it would “slide out” to one side or the other. After inspecting the front tire I observed a noticeable “bulb” or “blister” on the tread cap approximately 10” long. This blister was very hot in contrast to the remaining lukewarm tire. After the tire cooled, I could press my thumb against the blister, now receding, and feel the tread cap had separated from the inner core of the tire by approximately 1/2”. Because of the remote location where this tire failure occurred, I had no other choice but to ride the motorcycle 22 miles back to the last town I had passed, Wilets California, at 10-15 mph. In Wilets I was able to locate a motel and performed a tire swap the next day. This Avon tire failure occurred without warning. This same tire in a different size is now the subject of a recall for basically the same thing I experienced. I propose the aforementioned tire recall be expanded to include all Avon Cobra Chrome motorcycle tires regardless of size. Note: I also replaced the Avon Cobra Chrome on the rear of the motorcycle at the same time because we felt that it too could fail without warning.Note; The date code of this tire is AT4Y 27 3318. I bought it from Wingstuff.com on 6/12/20. So as I figure it Wingstuff sold me a new tire that was approximately 2 years old.
I'm 6'4" and I bought to 20" windshield with the recurve. The windshield provides excellent protection over the top and with it being wider provides better protection on the sides. I also like b being able to clean it using Windex and paper towels. 👍
Easy to install and nice fit You can't have enough lights.
To me, a great product. My wife absolutely loves them. Takes the strain off her shoulders. Easy installation...take you time and it's not difficult at all. Fast service by our friends at WINGSTUFF!!!
Ordered a seal/bushing kit for my front suspension and decided to include a progressive spring upgrade. Both the seal kit and the progressive springs showed up promptly. I already had the tubes disassembled and cleaned so everything went together in a few hours. Very happy with the results. My Goldwing handles great and feels lighter. Easy to order, fairly priced. A great trouble free purchasing experience.
Purchased the seal bushings kit after noticing my left fork leaking. The kit has everything you need to replace both left and right seals and worn bushings as well as o rings. Arrived promptly with every component sealed in their Honda parts package. The bike handles great again giving me renewed conference to travel on highways. Quality parts, no bad surprises. The 5 star review was well earned.
Super easy install - less than 5 minutes to uninstall & install if you just read the included instructions. Improvement of windflow over the rider in both low & high positions.
Makes highway riding relaxing. These are easily adjusted for comfortable fit.
So far after installation covers have stayed on, looks great. Used new grommets. Adds some Gilt to looks. Wasn't difficult to install. Happy with outcome.
It was easy to install. I like the quick release design because I only use the back rest on longer rides on my 2022 non tour Wing.
Because 1 drain plug isn't enough on my '22 Golf Wing DCT, it takes 3! Magnetic drain plugs are always a good idea. These do have a 17mm head, replacing the stock 12mm. Is it necessary? I found 12 mm head magnetic plugs at DK a lot cheaper, and that's what's stock, so you decide.
