It's Great ... it's the way the rack should have been designed. BUT... it does not fit in the holes I had in place for the Kuryakyn rack. The posts are at various angles and raising the rack changed the postions where the holes landed. 2 new holes needed. |
the windshield was not tinted dark at the bottom as the factory one is, it is clear and shows the stuff behind it. I painted the bottom part color match and it looks and works very well, |
The floor boards are great but make using the kickstand a real pain. You have to fold up the floor board to find the kickstand. The re-using of stock hardward take way from there great look. |
A must and easy to install |
I like em alot. nice look and added safety. I'd give a 5 but I had to learn how to solder to finish the installation. shuld be easier way like low voltage lawn light splicers. |
A 5 star must have. the difference between my spring 3k trip w/o and fall trip with was night and day comfort. So solid you can stand on them and lean back on the back seat. I did drag pegs w/the 6 inch arms and have gone to the 4.'s. I'm sure I'll have more clearance next turn. |
Great for Sunday morning rides with my coffee. also used w/large styrofoam cup and long straw cut from refridgerator water line tubing for cross country trip with helmet. A must to keep hydrated on long hot summer trips |
Put it on my 96 GL1500 just above the Honda badge on the faring, looks great.looks like it shold have been there from new. Looks silver on the photo but is gold and looks beeter than the photo. Henslite Cannonvale Australia. |
nice look/ easy install. |
I found the finish a bit below average. Maybe I just got a bad set. Thought about sending back but didn't want the hassle. I would have paid a bit more for better quality if I knew. |
These are the best tires I have come across for the Goldwing 1800. I went thru the first 24k miles on two sets of D250 Dunlops and the next 12K on the E3 Elites. No front end wobble until I put the E3's on the bike. The E3's were a big pain in the backside; I couldn't take my hands off the handlebars and had to be very vigilant the whole time I was riding. Dunlop can do a lot better than the E3's. So far I have 1.4k miles on the new ME880 Metzelers and it seems they have worked magic. The stem bearings that needed attention or replaced have fixed themselves; read NO wobble. These tires have good grip in wet weather as well as dry. Let you know on the mileage factor in 10k miles. For my money they are the cats meow for now. |
Excellent cover for the price. Does a great job and is very easy to store in a saddle bag. |
