| This unit is not for everyone. Can be intimidating to install. Did not like cutting into bikes wiring. Wiring diagram leaves a LOT to be desired. Took me over two hours to install. Got it working but I wish they could make it more plug and play. I would gladly have paid more for that. |
| Nice touch , but be careful with the gasket. Very easy to to rip. It is entanged in the shrinkwrap. |

| I think the best advice for this product, is don't get discouraged. If your doing this in your garage, it might be a little overwhelming, only because it takes a lot of time underneath your bike. I was lucky enough to have a neighbor with a bike lift, which made it a snap. It made it real easy, because there was two of us, the holes didn'nt line up exactly perfect, but, with two of us, one could tweak it a little, while the other started the bolts. All in all, it was a snap to put on, looks great, and works great. Instructions said to loosen the exhaust, we didn't do that, we just took the saddlebag mounting bolt out, and the rest was a snap. |

| Works good and the connector is good also. I installed one in the top of the trunk to charge phone and NiMH camera batteries, and one in the left pocket. I have since changed to "N" sized connectors like the BMWs use and Gerbing heated clothes for my GPS, and satellite receiver up front, they are smaller and stay connected better. However this one is used all the time in the trunk and no troubles. |
| Called Kuryakyn direct to tell them they had a manufactor defect that the plastic was not bent enough to go around saddle bags(corner piece) They told me that they had a "bad run" and sent me two new corner pieces at no charge. I compaired the two and you can tell the difference. new one went on fine!! |
| does not stop everything, installs good, I felt the bolts were cheap as I bought the Honda one and the hardware was better, non the less I like it. I have raised my ride height some with new springs front and rear, so it is more effective for me. you should take a strait edge of some sort and hold it from the ground up to the back of the fender to see what all of us are talking about as far as protection. |

| I have the yellow ones on my Yellow bike, and they look great, I have not had any troubles with breakage throughout the years of use of Bakerbuilt products, and customer support is great if you do need any replacement parts. The one thing with these, they do not work for me to deflect wind inward unless you are going below 40mph, so I remove mine in the warm months. I guess I could tighten them more, but at that point they may break. |
