My son and I installed this light weight hitch in one afternoon. It is secure and out of the way for tire changes. My wife and I have toured the Canadian rockies, California, and the Grand Canyon with the trailor following right behind. And nothing is seen when we run with out the trailor. |
PERFECT KICKSTAND FOR THE 1800 GOLDWING. |
GOT MINE BEFORE JOINING WINGSTUFF. WOULD HAVE SAVED A BUNCH HAD I WAITED. THESE FOOT BOARD WITH TOE,HEEL SHIFTER LOOK GREAT AND FEELS GREAT AND SAVING WEAR AND TEAR ON THE TOP OF OUR RIDING BOOTS. |
INSTALLING TOOK ME 2 HOURS FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS WHICH WERE EASYLY UNDERSTOOD. DIDN'T REALLY NEED THEM BUT SOMETIMES MY DAUGHTER WANTS TO RIDE ALONG. MAKES HER MORE COMFORTABLE BUT THEY ALSO LOOK GREAT. |
INSTALLED IT MYSELF, BUT OFCOURSE I INSTALL EVERTHING MYSELF. NO PROBLEM.FITS PERFECT. DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ONE RIDER SAYS IT PUSHES HIM FORWARD. MUST BE A DEFECT IN THE CONTOUR OF THE BARS. HAVE THEM BENT BACK SOME AND TRY IT AGAIN. WOULDN'T RIDE WITHOUT IT. |
In addition to the one in the left pouch, I installed a second one in my trunk and wired it directly (with fuse) to the battery so that it is possible to have a way to charge more than one electrical gadget at a time. Again, should be a option. |
Of all the Kuryakyn parts I've bought, this is by far the worst one I have purchased. Pushes me forward even when I have it adjusted in the hole nearest the passenger. Needs to be tilted backwards more. Can't ride with it for more than half an hour before the mid section of my back starts hurting. Will not ride with it anymore. |
had it 2 weeks. looks great and wipes off very easy. very clear and water beads off. very well worth the extra money. |
A functional piece of equipment I hope to never need. Comes with a nice bag to hold the cables as well. |
install my new boards yesterday instalation very easy. I have hated the OME boards from day 1 these are much better. |
Works like a charm. Installation was a breeze. I installed this one in the left pocket in the inside diag corner. Is perfect for charging my cell phone while on the road, etc. |
First off, the install was a breeze. It actually took longer to get the parts out of the shrink wrapped packages than to put them on the bike. I too had either a bad set, or the finish on these is not what it is cracked up to be. There are hazy spots in a couple of places. Worst looking chrome I have put on my bike to date. Nice idea for a chrome accent, but better quality parts would receive a MUCH higher rating. I have the saddle bag pieces on backorder. Hopefully the quality on those will be much better. if not, I'll return it all and either ask for an exchange or a refund. Hopefully this was just a bad set and not a sign of future quality. |
