I'm 5'10" and must be living right. I installed these (easy to do) and the first position I tried worked great. No problem with my legs rubbing against the fairing, but I can see where that would be a concern. Very solid, and the finish looks good. Been on the bike about a month now and I'm glad I got them. I use them on the highway and around town. Gives that extra bit of comfort. |
| The chrome was flawless,the fit was perfect and the installation is easy. Just start at the top screws,work your way down and snap the plastic fasteners in last.Don't forget to transfer the upper clips from old cowl. |

| This is a great product except for the fact that it can't be installed on GL1800 systems without modifcation. The unit is rated for 10 amps & as another user stated, it is not rated to handle the 6 brake lamps on an GL1800. I installed LED lights in the 2 inside positions of the trunk lights which lowered the load well below the 10 amp limit. This way it runs all of the brake lights plus the spoiler LEDS. |
| Easy to install and look great! Have to be careful not to scrape them though. Very comfortable! |
| Installed on my 06 along with the truck mounted CB. Can't go wrong with the factory antenna. no problem with the install. Radio reception is good. |
| Installed mine on my 06 in May before Wing Ding. A must for riding in a group. Kind of expensive but fit perfect. I did not remove the trunk to install. You can drill a pilot hole and use a electrical knockout punch to get the perfect size hole for the wiring harness. Took about three hours to install. Easy plug and play connections. |
| GOOD LOOKING ADDITION TO MY BIKE AND A MUST FOR LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL. SO FAR IT IS HOLDING UP WELL. HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLATION AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME WITH ALIGNMENT AND BE CAREFUL DRILLING. IT WILL LOOK LIKE IT WAS FACTORY INSTALLED! |
| Purchased hitch last spring and installed on on my 06. Pulled a trailer from Cleve., OH to Billings, MT and back. (5,200 miles total). No problem at all! Installation was fairly easy but pictures on instructions are worthless. I like the hidden hitch idea. Mine fit perfect though I had to pry here & there to align bolt holes. Good product at a good price but I would pay a couple bucks more for better installation instructions. |
