OH MY GOD!!! Just installed this with my spoiler and IT LOOKS GREAT the video does not do it justice. Had some trouble with 6MM special screws that hold on the back of the bike stripped one of them $1.83 at honda dealer. Also I had to plug yellow to white and white to yellow to have turn signals proper. The other way they were opposite then the bike. Someboby must have been sleeping on the job. To bad you can't buy the spoiler without a light in it. could have saved a bundle. Now I have a spoiler light I don't need. Yea well if you want to play you gotta pay.
This came on my 1500. why honda didn't put them on 1800 is a mystery, probly to make more money. The Bike looks so much nicer with this on. I installed it in about an hour or so, Hard to say because I also installed the Spoiler lights. (another review) Always leary when it comes to drilling holes in bike but if you take your time and follow directions you will be ok. REMEMBER 3 HOLES ON LEFT ONLY 2 ON RIGHT. Put some honda wax on the rubber insert for the wires and it will go in easier.

Just installed mine last night but have not road tested it yet, hence the 4 star rating. For those of you that are thinking of mounting this in conjunction with a Texelent Accessories mount bar see my review under this product. A cautionary note, when combining these two products. All set for Tim Horton's Drive-thru now! |
First time purchaser and very impressed. Took just over a week from initial order to arrival in Perth, Australia. Cover fits a treat and we have a tall screen and highway boards fitted. Very light weight. Love the logo.
I got the set. This is the second product I received that seems to have been a resell, thus the four stars. It looks good and mounted easy, but there were tool marks on the bolt heads, and washer marks gouged into the chrome mount. They sit under the antenna, so no big deal. Just be sure to check the hardware inventory when you receive it. Looks good mounted.
Got the rack. Has a few swirls in it. I gave it four stars because it looks like it was a resell. The box was damaged and there weren't any directions or bolts. Fortunately, I had gotten the riser set, so the lack of bolts or directions was irrelevant.
A nice gromet kit to have in escrow. They look just like the ones that hold the side covers on.
Kuryakyn made a nice looking functional product especially with the rubber "mudflap" attached. Right after I added this item I took a ride that lead me through some road construction with fresh tar and gravel. Not my idea of fun having to remove black tar from a red motorcycle. I did not even look until I got home. When I did I was supprised to find almost no trace of the experience. The Fender Extender kept the mess off of the front of the engine and trim completely. My only concern is the self sticking tape. So far all is well.
These adaptors made the Mirror, stealth Lights and front reflector a snap on my 2007 GL1800. Plug and Play as they say. The only thing that I was not sure of was how many I needed to add other lighting on the bike. As it turned out I had extra adaptors left over as I ordered some for the saddlebag and rear LED lighting additions. Nice to have spare parts. A well made product.
The cover fits well and will help prevent the dropsies. Pretty cheap protection for the trim around the key area. A must have.
This is a great Backrest that looks like it came with the bike - it should have. The most unnerving part was taking a knife to the saddle. Instructions were adequate. My bike has heated seats and I did have some concern about the heating element and wiring but after looking at the details on the Steve Saunders website you can see that things are pretty well protected. Believe the instructions. Nice storage pouch with the Backrest also.
I installed them on an 04 1800 you have to buy the newer model speaker boxes from honda 3 pieces on each side my total cost for all 6 pieces was 84.21,,,they look great and the wife loves 'em,,
