I use 50 in the summer and 40 in the winter, Great stuff, I would only use something better if Honda makes it.
I agree they do not fit right. But they look better than flat black plastic.
Easy add on.
Another chrome goodie for my Wing... looks good... I use the liner and put a bottle of water in it... handy... and not in the way of anything!
These are great! Add a pair of Hopnel bags to them and you've got a purse on wheels for the passenger!
I'm sure these boards work well with shorter riders... but at 6'3", they really cramped my style. A lot of my height is from the waist down, and I simply couldn't get the adjustment flexibility I needed to safely handle the bike with these boards in place. I opted for the peg lowering system instead and sold my boards on ebay... Much better system for my size rider.
I am 5'-6". the adjustments are either to much one way or the other (angle of the footrest)Also I notice a bit of wind resistance if you angle them to much. I would buy the small type if I had to do it over again. Right know I keep them level and rest my heel on them.

Just finished installing it. All went very well. Origonal vent installed like clockwork. Would suggest to go to www.f4customs.com and download the PDF instructions. The ones they sent with the windshield look like they have been copied about a million times over and are hard to read.Same price as the manufacturer but here you get free shipping. |
Own them for two years and I am very happy with them. No rust still very clean. A little annoying to have to move them to the side every tie I have to open the trunk, but I guess they all have to. Something to check into I guess.
These are great. I installed them when I put the rack on. I have pics of the risers and rack on the cycle in my profile.
Well worth the cost. Simple and helpful.
They keep the wind and rain from hitting your hands. They also help move air onto you when those very warm days of summer hit us.
