| In my previous review I meant to load on the LT for stability not the RT. |

Beware 1500 owners... Not an OEM fit. I don't agree with the easy installation comments on this thread. A dremel tool and some bending of the hardware were required to make the connections fit onto the battery posts. They do give you L brackets to retro fit this battery, but that's not the way to go... Let's see what kind of longivity this battery delivers ?? Mechanics at Wingstuff were Very helpful with fittng tips after the fact. Thanks. |
| These are very nice, they look great and are easy to fit. |

Great item to have! I was unsure whether I would go for this. But after riding with it, it truly is an amazing addition. Install requires some patience, but not too hard. |
| Owned wings since 1976. First one I put a cup holder on. Works great, installed left side and it interfered with my hand movement when pushing some buttons on '06 wing. Installed on right with no complaints except removing and installing cup is not great since you have to install a rubber o'ring. Got chrome, wish I got black. Not a chrome guy. |
| Great bit of chrome to those lost OEM pieces that just seem to disappear. Fit a little tighter then OEM, but still will add a bit of silicone so not to have these disappear on me. Ride safe ! |
| I wouldn't say this was easy to install, and I'm pretty handy. The bolts are very tight and difficult to get to while the bike is on the side stand. I had to use a mallet to hit my wrench because I couldn't get any leverage. I also had to use a jack stand to lean the bike over to the other side and rest on the saddlebag protective bar.(don't recommend doing this, a little risky)I do recommend breaking the seal on both bolts while the bike is on the OEM center stand(bolts are very long threaded, no risk here), then putting it down to the side stand and removing it. I mared my spring and may have bent it a little. Follow the advice on the sheet and use a brake spring tool or nice spring hook here. The bike wobles now. A little scary. Leave it in reverse to reduce rolloff danger. Mounting from RT side is more stable because of the pedal arm. I was able to use the reverse to stand the bike after a few tries, still need more practice with passanger(nervous about this). Ok why did I give it four stars? I like it better than the OEM. I never had trouble getting my bike on the OEM but it was hard this is a breeze with or without the reverse method. Once it's up put it in reverse and additionally, place your suspension preload on 1 for extra stability as 1 makes the rear wheel a little lighter. When you are ready to leave reset suspenson to your favorite setting. Also suspension of 20 makes putting the bike on the stand even easier, just wouldn't recommend leaving it on 20. |
| Nice shirt for a decent price! I think I might get a couple more! |

| This is a neat little item! Simple, unpretentious and very effective. The rubber keeps the key glued in your pocket and helps keep the dash area from getting scuffed up. I like it! |

Excellent product. However there is a upgrade kit for all GL1800 goldwings. This will alleviate the problem of losing the cam. The part number is 64542-MCA-010 and can be ordered from a honda dealer. The cost here in MD was $10.16 and arrives in 3-4 days. The problem was corrected on 2008 models starting with Vin #701301. Source of this info is The Wrench which is publication sent to Technicians at Honda Dealers. |
