Perfect fit and comfort.
Another Kuryakyn joke. From the beginning. (1)The saddlebag claps are heim joint were apparently preassembled with a torque wrench. Had to pad bench vice to loosen fastners before installation could even begin. (2) The rear plate is attached using 4 clamps to frame. These clamps have a threaded insert predded onto the clamp. Supposed to anyway, one clamp did not have the threaded insert in place. Also be sure to run the bolt through the threads before installing to clean the paint from the threads. (3) Alignment of the saddlebag bar clamps & the heim joint was impossible on the left side. These clamps should have an elongated opening to allow adjustment. I had to modify the clamp to secure it to the guard. (4) The locknut that is supposed to be installed on the heim joint bolt is absolutely impossible to access. I checked another Wing with the exact same hitch, it was not on there as well. As stated before on another rating thread, the instruction sheets are nearly useless. I should have learned from previous experience with Kuryakyn products to stay clear. This venture has convinced me to do just that. If there were a rating lower than 1 star that would have been my choice. Far too much investment for this poor of a product. Installation time including needed modifications was 4 hours.
I think this is a great product. Mine was a tight fit, but fits like a glove. I like not having to worry about whether or not my remote or Gold Wing is getting beat up.
wow! i love it...so does my back
I have had several different cup holders. These are by far the best I have had yet. Cups are good quality as well as the mounts. The wife loves hers. Don't waste your money on anything else. You will not regret buying The Drink Butler. I also enjoy the fact that if you need to replace any of the components you can purchase replacements for them.
Easy to install and adds a nice little touch of chrome to the radio control area.
Very good looking lights. Can never be too visible. Instalation was not too bad, Kuryakyn is very basic, but if you look at the photos and take it slow it turns out right. Need to bend the mirror out of place to get the wires to connect to. The bottom line is that they look great and make you more visible!!!
This looks great!!! I have the rail around the front fender and put this a few inches back, adds a lot to the fender with a clean look.
Super product.. sure save the expensive helmet from nicks and scratches and one nice feature is the D-ring holes, so you can cover your helmet and still lock it up to the back of the bike, I haven't have the chance to check the waterproof yet, but happy with it anyway.
VERY nice quality, but, not so great for the 1800's unless you only want to pack 1/2 full. Tried on my buddies 1500 and SUPER fit. with the tapered rear end on the 1800 trunk and also smaller openings on the 1800 saddle bags, these are iffy at best......
Since it's still a bit warm here in North Carolina (hit 99 degrees today) I obviously haven't had a chance to wear the shirt, but it does look well made and comfortable. I especially like the WingStuff logos. It is worth the price!
