Very happy with this bag. Bought it for a trip from WI to Smoky Mountains, had more than enought storage for 9 day trip. Later on an over-night attached it on rear seat using side velcro strips an worked even better. Rain cover fits well, is easy to attach and does a great job of keeping contents dry.
These are the nicest things since sliced bread. We Fleww 4X6 flags on schedule 40 pipe before getting these, and these are worth every penny. Many of our trips are long with the PGR and VFW, so now we can fold everything up and put it away without further damage! We Love Them!
They really look great on the bike. Stright forward easy install. But LED's are going out on the left bag. Only on the bike since May 2008. Have three LED'S out in one POD. This could be an expensive fix.
You can never have too much chrome, oh yea, they work too.
Very easy install. In a few minutes my bike had a cleaner look to an already great looking bike. Highly recommended.
I HAVE NEVER HAD A FLAT ON MY GOLDWING AND I HOPE I NEVER DO BUT I'LL CARRY MY MINI COMPRESSOR JUST IN CASE. IT'S GREAT TO KEEP UP THE RIGHT AIR PRESSURE WHILE ON THE ROAD. SEEMS TO WORK VERY WELL.
Looks like it came with the bike. Very easy to install. Watch the video on Utopia's web site and go for it. No problem cutting my heated seats. Wires are out of the way and protected. The hardest part for me other then getting up the nerve to start the cut in the seat was getting the 2 bolts started in the bracket. Backrest is very comfortable and has lots of adjustment. Doesn't interfere with passenger at all.
I just installed the ride off stand and the only hard part was breaking the 8mm bolt loose. It has blue sealant and does not want to move. the 14mm bolt is easier. Installation was otherwise easy provided you are mechanically inclined. Since I haven't used it yet my opinion may change with time.
this same unit costs about 69 and change at the dealership.

Bought this for my 2005 wing. Very nice addition but expensive. I initially purchased the Showechrome version which was a lot cheaper....but returned it due to quality issues (misaligned holes, missing heat tape and weather stripping). The fit on the hondaline version was perfect and worth paying the extra $. Wingstuff credited my account for the Showechrome cowls and sent me the Hondaline with a discount. Way to go Wingstuff. My only complaint was that the chrome pieces were dirty...finger prints. I had to clean them. Good product, great fit. Made by Honda...you get what you pay for. |
I installed the spoiler just before heading out on a 3077 mile trip. The spoiler really adds a classy look to the bike. I installed the extra wiring harness to make the light a running-light. I felt better knowing I had an additional light on the back. Install was simple once I figured out the rear fender removal. Drilling is no problem as long as you identify the correct dimples, nipples or whatever you want to call them on the underside of the trunk lid. 7/16 is your final size drill. take your time and its a no-brainer.
They work well and seem to be fairly good quality.
