I agree with Jae - the right side is fine, but I lost the left side on the highway the first day out! This will cost me another set, but this time I will use silicon glue.
This install could not get much easier took about thirty minutes.
Great addition to the look of the bike. Easy installation. A must have.
Love this piece. Dresses the front fender. Easy install.
These look great and easy to install but the heat does not come through them well.
Great addition. A must if you have fog lights. Easy installation and perfect fit.
The CB works great and installed without a problem. Took a little time to remove the plastic. BUY HONDA PUSH PINS if you are installing this yourself!

I ordered it on Tue and got it on Fri. It just so happened that I was swapping out my rear wheel/tire (I keep a spare new tire mounted on a spare rim) so when UPS dropped off my hitch.. I had the rear wheel off. This made it alot easier. You MUST use "CWOLAW's" instructions and if you follow them, it's a snap. The only 2 problems I had were getting the "V" bracket to line up with the support tab holes. I just closed the "V" a bit and it worked fine. Then I was trying to get the last bolt into the "H" bracket and no matter how much I pried and cursed and yelled.. it wouldn't line up. I took 1 bolt and tapered the end of the bolt, then I re-cut the threads (NC 16) on the taper so that I would be able to let the bolt help me pull everything into line. After re-working the 4th bolt, I was able to get it installed and snugged down. The whole process took me about 2 hours. The advantage I have is that I have a motorcycle lift. I was impressed with the fit and finish on this hitch and I'm not sure that spending the extra $$ on a more expensive one would be worth it. I bought the hitch to use with the 11x 16 Cargo tray. |
I have a 2005 wing and I'm installing my 5th set of ME880s. I travel 130 to/from work 5/6 days a week (mostly highway) at 75 miles an hour. After tring the Bridgestone and Dunlops (not the E3s). I'll stay with the 880s. I run 42/46 PSI front and rear and get 18K per set. They grip the road and run thru the rain with ease. At 141K on my machine, Metzelers are my choice.
These lights are a great show piece on any bike. I would give it 6 stars. (RED-RIDER)

I am a custom motorcycle painter (www.madshadowcustompaint.com) and I have begun using RWP to protect new paint jobs to aid in assembly. For example: normally when installing a rear fender you have about 1/4 clearance. RWP protects the finish, allowing parts to be easily handled and protected from scuffs while assembling. It comes off clean and has been well received by my customers. I am able to upsell customers with this product, and expect to do more of it in the future. I also believe this will be really nice to use on my front fairing when I do a road trips this year. Roll it on, roll 1000 bug splattered miles down the road in two days, hit it with some cold water and peel it off! |
