ISO-Grips for use w/OEM Heated Grips for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU6183,   SKU: KU6183

03.15.2009
This new version is easy to install and will stay in place. But!!! I give 2 stars less because of:
1. You loose much heat (2 steps on the knob)
2. These grips are realy huge ! You have to put the levers (in particular the clutch) a bit away from the grips as usual. As the grips are larger must have very large hands to reach the levers comfortabely.
3. That's the most important drawback for me: you loose a lot of feeling in handling the bike, esp. in sharp turns.
I used them for 2 days and removed them and rediscovered "my" Wing.

Kuryakyn Chrome Floorboards w/Heel Shifter
ITEM CODE: KU4038,   SKU: KU4038

After using these floorboards for 6 months, the back shifter position is too low for my comfort. I arch my heel to shift.

I give this accessory 4 stars, the install was very easy, the custom look is great and when not shifting in traffic, the floor boards are extremely comfortable. I will keep them, but I wanted to share.

If anyone knows how to elevate the back shifter so I don't have to work hard to shift, please let me know.

A good friend had bought 2 sets of these, and gave me 1 set...
I just installed it today... First they look great! but do wish the 06 and up addapter wiring had been included! No trouble to install, and took a little over a 1/2 hour. I think they could have run the wiring out the back (sticker side) rather than out the end so the wiring could be hidden, this would given it a better look... But over all works as intended, and looks great... even better at night.

These carpets are pretty nice. Fit well. Not crazy about the WingStuff logo on it. Would rather not have any logo on it. They are worth the money.

The sheet metal could have been a little thicker; the front section appears to be warped and does not sit tight against the rear section. Also if you have a bike that has seen some miles (I have a 2001) you will need to buy the dampening washers that fit behind the 4 nuts that you need to remove from the side panels; they disintegrated as I tried to take them off. 4 Stars because of the fit after installation.

This cover is worth the price. Fits my 84' Aspencade just right. Use it all the time including taking it on the road, have really put it to the test and it shows a little wear now but has held up great. No problems.

Iso-Grip Set w/Chrome Accent Ring
ITEM CODE: KU6180,   SKU: KU6180

The Kuryakyn Iso chrome grips, are now on my wing. Follow the instructions, and you will not have any problems. Remember, once the glue is on, and you're ready to slide on the grips. Do it in one steady move. Do Not stop. Installed the throttle bosses also. Really makes the bike look great. Haven't ridden with them yet, so I can't say how they feel. But what I see so far, they should be a great addition to the bike.
