Just had front and rear cobras installed on my 07 Goldwing. Purchased the 70 series for the rear. I immediately could tell the difference upon leaving the dealership. The grip in slow turns and the ride was amazing. I am kind of short in thinseam and was a little apprehensive about the 70 series possibly raising my seat heigth. I couldn't tell the difference. If these babies feel this good on my trip to Indianapolis for the race next month, it should be a smooth ride.
I had bought one of these, and besides being slimy, you T-shirt stays really wet. After you take your jacket and vest off, you end up with a wet slimy icky T-shirt. i tried it a couple of times, and never wore it again. Noth worth the hassle and slimyness........

Great product!! Matches the bike very well and is very comfortable with basically unlimited "fine" adjustments. Other back rests typically offer a few pre-set adustment locations. It is also easily removable if needed. I bought this and took a while to install due to the fear of cutting the seat. Though it takes a little work and thought it was not difficult. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Looked at Saunders' video, then got some great tips from Lt. Dan (on this site). Only problem I had was getting a long enough serrated knife, and removing the seat (nothing in the manual on this surprisingly). Other than that it wasn't hard at all. All that stress over nothing! I figured I saved paying someone 2.5-4 hours labor, and not to toot my own horn but the job looks like a factory install. Don't think the people I would have paid could have done any better. But that's the kind of guy I am, somewhat of a perfectionist. In closing, I have two things to say. I would definately buy and suggest this product to anyone, and in regards to the install PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE. Mike |
Great looking covers. Went on easy once I read the instructions several times.
Great addition to the bike. Installed it after the spoiler. Used star washers and rubber washers to mount. Looks great. Now to get the flag poles
Went on without problems. Template was right on but learned that there are marks inside top lid to drill holes. Template matched up with those marks exactly. Swallowed hard before drilling but everything lined up perfect. Looks great. Really adds to the back of the bike. Upgraded the light bar while I was installing
Good fit and finish. Easy to install. Remember to measure twice drill once. Very attactive and functional. I would recommend this product to a friend.
Great looking and I changed it with the solid one I had bought before. This vents a lot better but watch out on touching the circle where the drain hose comes out it is very sharp
LIke others, I was able to move some of the stuff from the trunk to the saddlebags and free-up some room. Nice addition.
Very nice piece of trim to give the rear fender that perfect flair. Dry fitment is a must, and the piece is tough to bend but is worth the extra effort.
Installed on a 2008 Comfort model if you are hesitant about installing yourself with cutting the seat get over it. Install was very simple after watching Steve Saunder's video and the wiring for the heated seat is well protected from where you cut. Seat looks stock and adds great comfort, no complaints from the pillion as far as room either. Great product!
Cover works great for daily use, is fairly small and doesn't take up much room in the saddlebags. Goes on in seconds and will also fit without the need to fold your antennas if you choose.
