Just pop out the old ones and pop in the new ones... and yes the real things look much better than the picture.
Easy to fit. I had to replace my old one and its simple to do. Keep the little pip ball lubed so it moves freely ....or you will lose it one day.
The install went alot easier than i had anticipated, just take your time and as others have stated, you don't need to take off the trunk or fuel tank cover, just take off all the fasteners, keep track of the size and placement of the fasteners, raise up the tank cover housing and place a 2x4 to hold it up and the plugs for the cb and fan filters are very accessible. To bad this old technology comes at a very unreasonable price?!! It should at least come with the antenna at that price!!!
Easy to install ...wife loves it. I have one on the front and for the money this has to be the best way to go.
An addition to my earlier review. Went for a ride yesterday in 88 degree weather. Used the four air wings to bring air onto us and was amazed at how much cooler we felt.
Looks great cleans up the front of the bike.
Looks great but be careful putting it on,once it touches that's all she wrote. you can't get it back off. I got it on just a little crooked.
Just picked this up at the Spring Fling.Looks great, take your time to install it and you won't be sorry.
Just picked it up at the Spring Fling. Looks great installed in a flash

Does not fit rack, so why give it five stars? The received this bag today, planing to use it for cats-cade. The bag looks and feels great, good quality, plenty of room, loads of pockets and rain cover. I was very pleased, until I went to try it on. My GL1800 came with the hondaline rack, phew waste of space. wingstuff.com/pgroup_detail/173_Luggage_Racks/44_GL1800_Hondaline_Chrome_Trunk_Rack/?goto=%2Fpgroup_list%2Fgl1800%2F173_goldwing_Luggage_Racks%2F The bag is about two times two large for this rack, the bag just slides and hangs off the back. Unable to use. I like the bag so much I would even swap my rack out for this one. https://wingstuff.com/pgroup_detail/3122_GL1800_Deluxe_Chrome_Luggage_Rack_SALE But the holes would be different and I would end up with spare holes/marks in the trunk. Anyone know how to extend the hondaline rack to get it too work? |

Update: After one season, the hardware is rusting. Very disappointing! |
