Easy install. I installed the light smoke on my pearl white 08 and they look great. They sure help in the hot humid state of Florida. Trying to make up what mind I have left on getting the Hand wing or blind spot mirrow.
I orderd this scoop trim about a year ago. When it arrived with other parts I thought it wouldn't look good. Yesterday I installed it, and I was wrong again in my whole life. That thing looks very good. I guess you can't always believe yoursalf.
These were not hard to install. greased the shifter with lithium grease and it has not hung up. Brake side had too much tilt in the floor board for me. Had to tweek it a bit to get it where I wanted it. Took 3 tries to get brake peddle where I wanted it. Overall I like the floorboards and feel the bike should have came out with them. I don't like a heel shifter but I am trying to get use to it. Seems the heel shifter is too high. Still find myself shifting wrong. I am trying to figure a way to keep the floorboards and shift with the toe only. May have to do my own engineering

I love this rack. I hardly ever go anywhere without it. Last year I took a trailer on our annual 3 week trip. This year I am going to put 1 carry-on luggage on it and that's it. Done with the trailer. I do wish though that they made a locking mechanism to lock it to the hitch. |
I too was a bit hesitant about the membership. I think if you buy semi-regularly like I have and will continue, you will save more than just recoup the cost. Happy riding!

Nice addition to secure those odds and in's. Had to manipulate the rubber seal to get it to fit right a bit but really wasn't that bad. If you use your trunk to keep your helmets in, you cannot put anything large in the pockets as your trunk won't close. Good for small items such as cell phone, keys, glasses, etc. Good buy no matter how you look at it. |
Nice overall fit, keeps your "stuff" from flying all over the trunk and side compartments. Would recommend.
Tour Master ... says it all... these are the most comfortible glove I have. Air flow is great in the NM heat. But the comfort.. is the most noticible element that I have experianced. After 18000 miles on the motor, these are the cats meow...
I have had this for one year now. Worked great until I rode through a heavy rain, if you buy it make sure it doesnt get too wet or seal it with something.
I did use the highway boards before I bought these then got the switchblade ones but the only thing that was missing was my foot did not rest correctly but after reading Michael and Sawdust57 review I cut the sleeve with a Dremel tool and now my feet with the highway boards are in the correct position that my feet should be in for going around fairing. Five stars to you two guys
As I found out this past weekend, these shark gills do a lot more than just look good. I was coming down from Mt. Palomar through the orange grove country when the biggest bug I have ever seen slammed into the left side of my bike. This thing looked like a humming bird and hit the bike like one too. My left pant leg was covered with bug juice from my boot to my Knee. I wasn't sure what part of the bike took the hit until the next morning when I went out to the garage. The fins of the left Shark Grill was the impact point and they had as much bug debris on them as my pant leg did. I then realized that without this accessory, all that junk would have ended up directly in my left radiator grill and air cleaner. That would have been nearly impossible to remove without taking the bike apart. It also could have cut down on airflow to the engine. If you don't buy these grills because they look great, buy them as scatter shields for flying dive bombers!
Love this, BUT don't get the kickstand extender for it, as it comes lose and/or drags ground on cornering.
