If you need a new CB antenna, DON'T HESITATE to buy this one over the Hondaline one. This one works just perfectly, looks the same except it has a chrome ball instead of the little red cap at the top of the antenna stem. REALLY...save yourself 1/3 the pricier unit! Oh, by the way, it took less than one hour to install. |
Nice trunk rack. Looks great on the bike. I installed a spoiler first and would suggest others do the same. The installation went well, but it is hard to measure as the legs are not all welded to the rack perfectly sraight, not enough to be noticed when installed though. Thanks to info from other reviewers, I bought longer (6mm x 25mm) bolts which made installation easier and the mounting stronger.
Great spoiler, high quality as I expected from Honda. Couldn't have been easier to install. A bit of unneeded anxiety when drilling. I left the light as a brake light only. As a 22 year truck driver it has been my experience that an area that goes from dark (no light) to bright red, catches more attention than a light that goes from red to brighter red. Not as cool though.
So far so good went with the 70s and yes my speedo is correct via the Zumo its nice now not to guess how fast you are going. I only have a few hundred miles on them but what a differance , I know that all new tires feel great when you change out but will let you know around 5k(most tires half life)for me. I also like that with the bigger 70s on the back the bike does not rock so much when on center stand.I live close to the dragons tail excited to try them out.
I replaced the stock gribs with these almost immediately after I purchased the bike. They've been on since 2002 and look great. The only thing I miss are the weights from the stock grips. I am considering getting the throttle boss addon to these as well.
Noticed a difference in the shifting,A lot smoother shifting than other motorcycle oil. Why would you pay over 20,000 on A goldwing and put car or truck oil in it. There not made the same your clutch and gears are all made together on a motorcycle. Put motorcycle oil in A motorcycle and car or truck oil in A car or truck. Would you put motor oil in your car or trucks transmissions or transmissions oil.
I just finished a 3,640 mile trip to Yellowstone and Glacier Parks and it rained nearly every night. This cover didn't let a drop of water hit my 2008 Goldwing so, it really is waterproof and does a great job of keeping the bike dry. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because the bag that it packs into fell apart and the zipper failed after 3 days of use. I had to buy a waterproof replacement bag at Jack Dennis Sports in Jackson Hole, Wyoming ($21.15). The other reason for only 4 stars is that although there is a protective material on the inside around the windshield area, the rest of the cover is somewhat adrasive and put several fine scratches in my new chrome trunk handle (Item # BB52653 / $79.99).
Very nice product easy enough to install but I would pay a few extra dollars to leave the old boards together instead of stealing parts.

I looked into using the Dyna Beads for my 06 Wing. I have Dunlop Elite III's and I went to their website. Under "warranty information - what is not covered" I found this: Tires injected with dry/liquid balancers or sealants, or in which anything other than air has been used as the support medium. I will not risk having my warranty voided because of this product. |
easy to install, over and over, the right peg keeps comeing loose. when installed tap the end with a mallet then retighten the bolt. USE LOCK-TIGHT
This is a really nice cover it has features that I hav'nt seen on some more expensive covers
Much better sound then my $135 J&M headsets when used for intercom. Voices are very clear and no wind noise (make sure you have the mic pointing at and close to your mouth). Stereo on the other hand sounds terrible, no bass at all. Since I installed these in my 3/4 helmet, I will use these for the intercom only and play the stereo through the Wing's speakers. Very easy to install without any tools. First one took 15 minutes, I had my wife's done in 5 minutes. I went on and gave five stars for voice quality, easy install, and supper low price. If you want or need to listen to your stereo through your headset, then I would recommend you look at other headsets.
