Noticed a difference in the shifting,A lot smoother shifting than other motorcycle oil. Why would you pay over 20,000 on A goldwing and put car or truck oil in it. There not made the same your clutch and gears are all made together on a motorcycle. Put motorcycle oil in A motorcycle and car or truck oil in A car or truck. Would you put motor oil in your car or trucks transmissions or transmissions oil.
I just finished a 3,640 mile trip to Yellowstone and Glacier Parks and it rained nearly every night. This cover didn't let a drop of water hit my 2008 Goldwing so, it really is waterproof and does a great job of keeping the bike dry. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because the bag that it packs into fell apart and the zipper failed after 3 days of use. I had to buy a waterproof replacement bag at Jack Dennis Sports in Jackson Hole, Wyoming ($21.15). The other reason for only 4 stars is that although there is a protective material on the inside around the windshield area, the rest of the cover is somewhat adrasive and put several fine scratches in my new chrome trunk handle (Item # BB52653 / $79.99).
Very nice product easy enough to install but I would pay a few extra dollars to leave the old boards together instead of stealing parts.

I looked into using the Dyna Beads for my 06 Wing. I have Dunlop Elite III's and I went to their website. Under "warranty information - what is not covered" I found this: Tires injected with dry/liquid balancers or sealants, or in which anything other than air has been used as the support medium. I will not risk having my warranty voided because of this product. |
easy to install, over and over, the right peg keeps comeing loose. when installed tap the end with a mallet then retighten the bolt. USE LOCK-TIGHT
This is a really nice cover it has features that I hav'nt seen on some more expensive covers
Much better sound then my $135 J&M headsets when used for intercom. Voices are very clear and no wind noise (make sure you have the mic pointing at and close to your mouth). Stereo on the other hand sounds terrible, no bass at all. Since I installed these in my 3/4 helmet, I will use these for the intercom only and play the stereo through the Wing's speakers. Very easy to install without any tools. First one took 15 minutes, I had my wife's done in 5 minutes. I went on and gave five stars for voice quality, easy install, and supper low price. If you want or need to listen to your stereo through your headset, then I would recommend you look at other headsets.
This is a must have on hot long rides. Definitely glad I have one.
Wife likes them especially the kool cut holder. This is a must have on a long ride.
Fit and finish are good but found out later after riding that not the best backrest for me. My wife says the inside of her legs are uncomfortable after a short ride. also hit a big dip in the road and bent the piping holding the backrest this is the same piping that irritates my wife's legs. It did not bend much but non the less it changed my seating position. This is a good backrest for a single rider only.
Very nice cover, well worth the price.

The backrest looks great, looks like it came from the factory installed. More stress thinking about the install than actually putting it on. This is a must for any goldwing. I would like to add the first backrest I received had a hole poked throught the back and the Wingstuff people replaced it very quickly and with zero hassle. 5 stars for them too. |
