works great in the living room trying it out ....very will built and i hope never to have to use it on the road but you never know ...we went on a 1000 mile trip last week at times we were no where close to help...
Instant replay on that review...I put about 250 miles on the bike today in 80 weather... and folks i am here to tell ya ... i dont think i have any meat left on my lower legs. If you use highway pegs even with air wings ... no matter how you adjust them... you are going to cook you legs. These things look great but they are only good for Canada and Alaska...cause anywhere else and you need asbestos leggings. Hard to believe ...but its true. They will cook you. I was actually thinking about breaking off the fins my shins and ankles were so hot..Might make a great Christmas present ...lol.
I like to ride without a helmet most of the time and got used to using a headset on my 82 goldwing. Even though the radio sounds great, on long fast rides a headset can't be beat. It sounds great.
What a great add on. I can't believe that Honda wouldn't make this standard. Install was easy and looks great on my black 1800.

Purchased this one over the cheaper version for the simple fact that wanted to avoid any airflow issues. After reviewing some of the other reviews, I hoped for a quick install. Took me about an hour to get this one on. The four bolts on the lower fairing cowl need to be removed to install. The holes on the left side were not lining up with the bolts. I had to drill new holes and reseat. Once the holes were cut to align, everything installed quick. Now there is piece of mind that the plastic overflow will get some protection vs. none at all or instead of the ridiculous tin foil that Honda wraps around the reservoir. If you're thinking of getting one of these, do not hesitate. The price is right at VIP cost and it'll provide you assurance and piece of mind. Don't notice any airflow issues either. |
The boards are nice and do the job they were meant to do very well. But for $225.00 I think kuryakyn could include the ball, spring and little plate that you have to steal from your old boards. Furthermore maybe a longer or stronger spring because these boards are heavier than stock and don't always like to stay up.

I like the product its doing its job protecting the Bottom from debris The only thing I noticed was there is more heat coming from the Rad and my fan comes on more often but so far no problems to speak of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twospeed |
I have also put the rotor covers on as well and it looks really dressy. Gives the bike a fresh new look.
Does a fine job. Easy to store on the bike and use when you need it or just feel like it...
Right now ..on looks alone i will go with the 5 stars...easy to slip on also... now as to other problems .. i dont know yet. I have had them on for two days and temps around 80* with no problem. I have air wings also so that may make a difference. But they do look great and people sure notice them. Time will tell ....
Disregard my March review. I have been in Prescott AZ for the last month and taken on more than I thought. Removed the pan and I was amazed. This is the best pan I have found. If you go for a pan, I would say this is your best bet.
I have had the Kury Plastic for the last year. No more. Spend the cash and enjoy the metal. Worth the money to me.
