Since I was only installing the vanity mirror, I did not install the entire harness, which required removing a lot of plastic and drilling a mounting hole for the switch in the left fairing pocket. They should have a smaller, and less expensive, wiring harness option specific to the vanity mirror. With any bit if electrical know-how, you could install the vanity mirror without purchasing this harness.
These work great and quite cheap on price yet a nice quality item!
This item definitely works to stop the remote from sliding and banging around on the bike. Perfect!
I'll take off a star because like others i've read here. the piece is not curved to the bikes fairing. this causes you to put some bend on it! How well the adhesive strip will hold we'll see. If it starts to come off I'll use some silicone. I noticed after the install that there is a nut in the opening! that may make it really difficult to get to now that the trim is installed. It lines up directly with the middle tine! Oh well! It really sharpens the the look. Can't wait for the shark gills and chrome intakes! Wing Stuff sometimes I hate it cuz you guys are causing me to be a shopaholic! Hey it's all saftey chrome anyway!! :-)
Just received these and what a difference they make! Took a ride up to almost 10k here in Colorado. Made the difference to put air on me down in the Denver area, switched to deflect up in the mtns where it was about 20 degrees cooler! Wish I'd of gotten these back during the colder months to help with keeping hands warmer. These are well worth the $$'s and so easy to install!
I just got this bag and man what a difference it is to have some space to put rain liners and light stuff! opening up the trunk and saddlebags for other fluff! I haven't ridden in the rain yet but i'll tell you here in Colorado we can get some pretty stiff winds on the plains and in the mountains. This thing sticks like glue! I'll re-evaluate after i've taken it on and off again after a while. But so far it's great! I'm not see the over size problem on my Kury rack.
I saw this cover on a bike at Americade and liked it! Great for a quick cover on hot days = cool seats!
I installed the highwayboard with out the lights and love them. However the 6" arms that come with them are too long and the ajustments are wrong to keep the boards from dragging while cornering. I had to purchase the 4.5 " arms seperately and now they are great. You should have the option to purchace these with either the 4.5" or 6" arm.
This is a good product but was missing a washer to tighnen it onto the mount. I bought the 4.5 inch arms as the floorboards that i had were rubbing on the pavement when i was in a turn. The 4.5 inch arms should be sold with the floorboards becasue to get them high enough to not rub your legs are way to high with the 6 inch arms.
Excellent product, I purchased mine mainly for the added safety effect of shiny dangling flickering things in the rear but they work great as helmet extenders too!
This is a great tool, and does the job. Wingstuff has recently come out with an even better tool that has the 17mm socket machined into the small end. Get that one instead!
This was actually a very nice and tasteful addition. I'm glad I put it on. Make sure you test fit it with the tape cover on so you know exactly where to place it. One of the few kury pieces that isn't over the top in the style department!
