| I installed these on my trunk and they work GREAT!!! If you own a GL1800 and want to prevent paint damage when closing your trunk lid, these are a MUST HAVE ITEM. Easy installation and they work wonderful. Highly Recommend!! Frank |
| I pulled into a rest area at 2am a car driver parked next to me said I was falling asleep when those shinny things caught my attention. I figure they saved my life |
| Dang... I hate to 4 star it but I have to...easy installation..great idea..bad idea with Kuryakun floorboards. Riding in the mtns of North Ga, Tn and NC I did a bunch of dragging the pad in left hand curves. After two rides I decided to take it off. I was doing a left hand switchback on Blood Mountain, Ga and could not lean far enough into the curve. Kinda pushed me to the right. wish it worked for me. I spoke with Chad at Rivco and he is willing to work me with me on it. Thanks. |
| Gas mileage up quite a bit and thats a good thing? It's a bear and a half to put in however. Nearly had to dismantle the entire motorcycle and that sucks. This install is not for the faint of heart. Extremely difficult because of the motorcycle design not because of the filter. |
| Very nice, nuff said. |
| Can't say enough about these. Fantastic looks, easy to put on and man what a difference. I wish I had done these a year ago. |
| I don't care what they say go factory antenna and don't waste your time with the cheap one. You get what you pay for in this case. |
| Nice item however had some issues getting them to fit snug. Had to CAREFULLY bend them slightly. Look great though. |
| I got several sets of these in white. I had my mechanic wire them into the pockets, trunk, and bags on my bike and connect them to a switch so I could use them to see into the dark areas of the bike at night. They work GREAT and my mechanic said they were fairly easy to install. The light output is great for the way I am using them. I had two sets installed in the trunk (left and right sides) to give more light to that area). |

RIVCO has always been a great American Family Business with high quality products. have never been dissatisfied. This is perfect. I never plan on pulling a trailer. This Cooler rack system fits perfect, and drops off when not needed, in a snap. I made my own box-trunk unit to fit on this. It works great for all the gear you don't want to deal with on a trip, until you need it... rain gear, cover, cooling vests, seat cover and what ever. Now we only use the duffel bags for our cloths and such. |

Had these installed today at Wing Stuff, Lake Forest. Made an advance appmt. and they were ready to begin right on time, and did a nice job ($75.00). Rode about 75 miles on both fwy and twisties. Bike seemed more "smooth" on both type roads, particularly I liked the improvement in the turns. Very sure and smooth. No vibrations in the hand grips on the fwy.. Expensive, like $309.00 total but hey, smooth is always expensive! |

There is another lid support system that is really well made and really pricy. It has gotten great reviews, However... it only supports the trunk lid at two places, on the outboard edge of the trunk, leaving a possible load on the lid hinges. This kit is simple, inexpensive and supports the trink lid at all four corners. I have found that when properly installed the bumpers last two or more years with the loads I put on them, "10 pound trunk rack bag". At this price, it is nothing to replace them if needed. The key is proper installation! A great product in my opinion! |
