I have these boards. Easy install, no problems. Be sure to red lock-tite your heel-toe mounting bolt. Every now and then, put a drop of oil where your heel toe shifter meets the bike. The chrome finish is nice. I use crystal glow to brighten the shine. |
| 10 stars not on drop down.... I have never felt a better smoother ride. Well worth it and the first 7,000 miles of new tires looked more like only half that. 700-1,000 mile day ride seem easier and less tiring. As for the only low rating above.... I am glad it was mentioned that a car tire was used with the balance ring. A car tire will require more weight than what is inside intended for a GL1800 rated rear tire. There is a reason that the competitor has tire size charts for the correct weight usage. You will notice an improvement on the front (with "trike" kit). |
| I got my new Avon Cobra from Wingstuff and had it installed. Was planing on putting the Dyna Beads threw the stem but that was a no go I beleave they have to be put in the tire with installation. I took out the little insert & let the air out of the tire & put the tube in the tire stem but they would not fall in. Tryed to blow them in also but that did not work so now I will have to wait until I do work on the tire of get a new one. Wish the instruction said they need to be put inside the tire at installation. I recomend putting them in at installation. |
| have tried the Torqmasters, they were good but these Cobra's are far better fit, sound, quality in my estimation. Good purchase. |
| I had the "closed one" on my other wing. This one is a lot better. Had it installed in about 10 min. (it's that easy!) don't tighten anything till you’re finished. |
| Put this on last Friday and it looks great. The install was about the same as the stock cowl which I've had off a few times for oil changes. Because I have fog lights, I had to use the dremmel tool to grind off the fog light covers, no big deal. |

I bought these from WingStuff and had them installed at Venco Wings. my '08 wing was smooth before the installation and the ride was even better after. an interesting note here. I called and spoke to Centramatic before ordering and was advised to run 41 to 42 pounds of air in the front and 42 in the rear - which I now do, +/- a half a pound. at first I was bothered by the construction, but since these are warranted, I chose to ignore that for now and give them a try. would I install them again? YUP! |
| I have been searching for these for several months ever since my friend told me about them. I couldn't find them anywhere so I put the thought aside. Thanks Wingstuff for finding this product. I should have known you would come through sooner or later. As for the bumpers, a definite must have. Cheap insurance against a scuffed trunk. The install was easy and the spare wasn't needed. Next time you go shopping, throw these in your cart. |

On long trips I pulled a trailer with my 1500 GW. When I bought the 1800 I wanted to fly down the highway trailerless and the Pakit Rak Kit was my ticket to Freedom! I also purchased the turn down tips for my exaust pipes. I love it! |
| Installed this hitch on my 2008 and brothers 2006. I recommend removing the mufflers no problem taking off or putting back on. Took about 2 hrs per hitch. Seems to be well built. Had to modify my bracket for my Kuryakyn LED Debris Rear Mudflap. Over all not to hard to install. |
| Give these a five star put them on 11/7/09 and imidiately got complements they stand out now i can,t wait to get the lizzard light to show them off even more at night.Instalation was a snap. |
| I have several of these JR's and they are great!! Everyone should have one on their bikes, boats, lawnmowers, and seldom operated cars. Great piese of equipment. If they stop working send them back to company and they will give a new one. |
