Bought this cover because I wanted the best! If your just going to keep bike covered in garage cheaper one will do.. It is very stiff, and thick! If your outside it will be great.. Inside a more flexable dust cover would be fine.. Great looking cover as well.
Actually gives a kind of protection, especially when there are passengers with you. Easy to install
There are no problems for him. Very comfortable, but after a period of time should be sprayed a little oil in place of the sizing
Give you a greater degree of protection than the original also noticed you can hear the radio better. Easy to install
Excellent. Change in the voice engine for the better, but difficult to install but will benefit when you open parts of the bike I mean you will gain experience
So far I give it 5 stars. Wonderful looking
Installed the Centramatic Wheel Balancers with a new set of Avon Cobra tires on my 2008 Wing. WOW what a great ride. Perfect balance at all speeds. No hands free wobble and takes turns like on a rail. WING MAN for 29 years.
WOW! These tires are great! Installed the Centramatic Wheel Balancers with the Avon Cobras on my 2008 Wing. Best ride ever and I have been a Dunlop Elite / Wing Man for 29 years. Handles turns like being on a rail. My next set of tires will be the Avon Cobra.
Bag worked out very well on a 3,200 mile trip. Once you get the hang of the mounting system, it works great, and is rock solid. Good place to put need to get to items.

I installed this on new '08 GL1800 about two months/2,000 miles ago, and am totally pleased with this unit. I rode that bike less than 500 miles before adding this. It made a huge difference. It does not interfere with wife's knees at all. It has plenty of height and angle adjustment for me, and looks like it came stock. I installed it myself in a couple hours with no problems other than the same mental block a lot of others have about cutting into a brand new seat. Don't let that concern keep you from purchasing this item. Just use your head and follow the provided instructions...they work. I'm definitely no engineer, and I still had no trouble with the installation. The only knife I had that fit the bill was one of the blades from an electric fish fillet knife, and it worked perfectly. |
So, so. Not the worst, not the best. If you are doing some serious touring, you will want some great sound. This isn't the solution. Not sure what is the solution - any thoughts?

Perfect! Yes - be careful while installing - follow the directions carefully and patiently (there is an extra and I had to use it)! This, coupled with Steve Saunders solution, is the bomb! Take a look: https://www.goldwingfacts.com/1800trunklidfix.htm Good stuff! |
