When I bought my 2004 I was very annoyed by the trunk lid vibrations when riding on bumpy roads. Problem solved. The installation was as easy as advertised the the trunk is now quiet.
DO NOT attempt to install these caliper covers if Centramatic wheel balancers are on the machine. It is a disaster. The Centrimatic takes up space needed for the calipers to operate correctly. This was the exasperating experience of the Wingstuff service department.
Over priced for old technology. Works well though. Another way to hole the trunk is to melt it through form the inside with a heated hole saw
Just did my first oil change with the HP4S and really like the results. Gear shifting seems much smoother and quieter. I will be using this oil for all of my oil changes.
I've had these on my Wing for 5 years, and I wouldn't be without them. They have a nice look to them, accomplish their goal by keeping hands warm in cold weather, and reducing buffeting on windy days...especially for the pillion. They're not perfect for all things, but then, life isn't perfect either...
Looks nice, but after my first trip the bottom row of LED's only partially light. All will illuminate on braking, but only half of the bottom row illuminate otherwise.
Why does anyone make a item like this and use plastic screws? Both sides have broken off at highway speed so I'm left with holes in my cycle. Baker should replace them and use metal screws.
I noticed rust when I opened the bag receiving it. I have not installed it and probably won't either.
I did not have to remove the muflers. This hitch did not fit perfectly. I coule not replace the rear mudguard, so I had to rework it a little bit. It was worth it in the end. I will buy it again, even though it was no bolt-on!
update I did have to use it,I had a flat miles from help it worked like a charm saved my butt, it payed for itself with one use, worth its weight in gold
I have found the Dyna beads to ease the ride. It took me much longer to install them than I had envisioned - if you are very patient and let the beads roll down the tube in a thin trickle - they will. Take the valve out of the stem - fill up the applicator bottle = attach the filler tube and gradually pour the beads down the tube - don't let the beads back up - pour slow and they'll go!!! You may occasionally have to tap the tube if they start to back up.
These are great boots. I know fit is a personal issue but these fit me very well. A bit stiff but they broke in quickly. Coldest wx so far was low 50's and they stayed warm with just a pair of white tube socks. I could spend more but I doubt I'd find a pair I liked better.
