looks nice. seems a little bit flimsy but it stays on no problem
very nice product for keeping the bike from sinking. easy install. the reason for 4 stars is because i had to cut off and then file smooth some of the corner because it hit the bike when the kickstand was up. they need to do a little more R&D on this.
easy install took less then 30 minutes. the most time consuming part is drilling the hole. measure twice then drill. the red plug on my 2003 was right there on the left towards the shelter protruding from the rubber boot at the very bottom of the opening where the pocket was removed. looks very good. looks factory installed. every bike should have one so you know if your electrical system is functioning properly.

just received the meter...looks good, installed fine, however, the manufactures website is not current on the jumper that is needed for 2006 and up. They apologized for the website error that omits you need this and are sending me the jumper that plugs into the LEFT side of the fairing, not the right side (for 2006 and newer). So if you are installing in a bike 2006 and up, Honda removed the plug in 2006 models and you must request the jumper. Jim |
Very handy item to have, easy install, works great.
Incredible manual, it it the complete guide I was looking for.
Regarding the BB52806 GL1800 Show Chrome LED Fog Light Kit w/Factory Switch Fit Std or Air Bag. Installation took 6 hours. Works well for added visibility. Only problem is the unit lasted one month, less than 500 miles riding time when the right side LED failed. Big bike parts said they will replace. However, the vendor wants me to send back the whole unit another 6 hours to uninstall and another 6 hours to re-install! Therefore, I would not recommend these lights.
I bought my husband (and myself) one for his birthday this year and we've already found it a great help when riding on hot days. The 34 oz is huge, and does keep your water (or soda) cold all day! Love, Love, Love it!

This is a great cosmetic effect -- instant bling!! I got and installed them today and they look great!! I docked a star because of two factors; on the back edge I can already see where the chrome finish is flaked. It's not anywhere you see it when it's installed but I'm concerned it might spread like cancer. The other reason I docked the star is I think they could have given a little more adhesive. As anyone who ever rides in real windy conditions, the wind tends to find all kinds of places to work over some of your add-ons. If it looks like it might not stay I'll just get some two-sided tape. Once I installed them I stood back and looked at my bike. I should have ordered the passenger floorboard covers at the same time to finish off the shine. I'm sure I'll be getting those soon. |
They look great and where easy to install. My only discontent is that they ought to figure out a way to package them without the shrink rap. That stuff was so stuck to the grills and itself, that it was hard to get them out without breaking something. The grill connections to the housing is a very small spindle of plastic which can snap just looking at it.
Excellent product, can't wait to get my light put underneath it to set it off.
I put these on and they really go good with my trike kit that I have on my bike. They keep the heat from the bike off my wireing that I have on my kit.
