remember to replace the 5 amp ass fuse to a 10 amp, the install was easy, the plug is the on by the aux plug jack, i would drill the hole a bit to the left as it is snug aginst the wire bundle when installed, but easy a nd quick install
You have to buy a pair of these if you are purchasing the Kurayakn bar ends and the Iso hand grips.
Buying only the chrome frame covers to enhance the glitter on your bike make it incomplete. You have to add these too. Easy fix. Bike now looks immaculate.
Nice and comfortable. I have no issues with a slight loss of heat. All screws should be in mm. Wasted some time going to the hardware store to buy the hex allen screw in inches. It took some time for both segments to lock together. The bike now look not only look classy but more comfortable to handle.
Beautifully made. Easy addition to all Kuryakyn Grips.
Being in Texas we ride alot in Hot temps so these are great. Took a little ribbing over the size of the Keg hanging on my bars and on the pass. armrest. They stoped saying anything after we rode on a very hot day and we still had cold water to drink and they didn't. Another quick trunaround on the order.
Just got mine in and got it installed. Very fast turn around on the order. I agree that the edges are sharp, just used a little bit of emery cloth and took the edge off. Looks great.
Installed these on a friends 1500 just before making our last trip and he said they were just what he needed.
These grip covers are comfortable but they get a little slippery feel when wet. If you are not wearing gloves and your hand sweat the color from the grips will turn your hand black.
Purchased 2 but at different times. One is still working but it is not being used very much. The second one is less than 30 days old and the heating element went out on our last road trip. Good ideal and it is a lot better to use than a regular type lighter while running down the road.
They are made of plastic but they look killer and just enough to set off the bike. Not hard to install but after putting on you should not take the bike out for at least 12 hours.
This is well worht it and I would recommend it 110%. The foot is at least twice the size of the stock stand and also because of this the bike doesnt lean over as far. There were not instructions that came with it but its not hard to install. First you remove the switch using a 5/16 nut driver, this shows when the stand is up or down. Second remove the nut in the backside of the stand and then the bolt facing you, once this is done its easy to remover the spring and reinstall the new stand.
