These fit perfect. The only problem was the top screw in the side bag was too short and I had to find one that was longer and would work. They will help keep things from moving around.
The trunk rug was slightly bigger, but the saddlebag rugs were a perfect fit. They were added touch to the inside of the bags and trunk and help keep items from liding around.
We had our dealer install the Centramatic Wheel Balancers prior to our trip to Florida. I could immediately feel an improvement in handling the Wing especially at lower speed. We were running 70-MPH all the way back on US-95 and it was smooth! I agree with others who have observed less fatigue during and after a long haul. Too early to evaluate tire-wear; will report in later. Ride enjoyment increased equally with the increase in the quality of the ride.
These came on my 07 wing when i bought it new,i got 13000 kms out of the first tire,i also towed a cargo trailer 5000 kms out of that.Put a dunlop elite 3 on at 13000kms and have been running it for 6000kms, I find the dunlop is really loud and not as sm0th as the stones. When the dunlop wears out i have a bridgestone 704 out in the garage ready to replace it.Think i,m going to stick with the bridgestones
Simple install, did a little tweaking before final install
I couldn't imagine running anything except Bridgestone tires on my bike!! Owned two Wings and the first one came with Metzler's installed. They "cupped out", with 50% tread remaining. Second Goldwing,(an '02), came with Stones and the ONLY reason I'm replacing them at 10K miles is due to the age of the tire, NOT because of treadlife remaining. Using an "actual" tread measuring device, my "old" tires have 60% of the tread that my brand new Bridgestone's came with. Considering this, along with the overall quality I have enjoyed with every mile, including smooth quiet ride, safe grip on ANY road surface and not once did I have to fight with "tar snakes". Bottom Line,...this tire was MADE for everything the Goldwing can dish out and more !!
Couldn't get much simpler in both the installation and usage catagories. When they say,...."Plug-N-Play", they mean exactly that. Remove the left fairing pocket, drill a 7/8" hole in the pocket wall and plug into the power source Honda left for this purpose and Vio'la,..all done !! Wish ALL add-on's were this easy.
Installed it is my wing with the Trunk liner. If you get the lid organizer to full, lid will not close. Otherwise, great product.
super nice product. very light weight. simple to install. only took around 1 hour and 45 min. need to put in the description, that if your trl. has a 4 wire lighting system you will need the 5 to 4 wire converter. rivco put this in the install instructions, but had i known i needed it i would have bought it from wingstuff when i bought the hitch. no biggie still very, very satisified.
I'm over 6'. The 4.5" allow me to lower my pegs so I can strech out. With the 6" the highway pegs were scraping before the footpegs.
I have an '06. I had problems getting the positive to tighten down. The bolt holes don’t line up between the connectors and post. The posts are offset on the battery. It was very difficult to hook up with my batter tender cable and my synergy cable.
The product looks great but was very difficult to install. The installation bolts did not line up with the original extension mount holes which had to be elongated with a Dremel. Also difficult to work my fingers between the tire and the fender so it had to come off. Kuryakyn's estimated 20 minutes turned into 2 hours.
