| Couldn't get much simpler in both the installation and usage catagories. When they say,...."Plug-N-Play", they mean exactly that. Remove the left fairing pocket, drill a 7/8" hole in the pocket wall and plug into the power source Honda left for this purpose and Vio'la,..all done !! Wish ALL add-on's were this easy. |
| Installed it is my wing with the Trunk liner. If you get the lid organizer to full, lid will not close. Otherwise, great product. |
| super nice product. very light weight. simple to install. only took around 1 hour and 45 min. need to put in the description, that if your trl. has a 4 wire lighting system you will need the 5 to 4 wire converter. rivco put this in the install instructions, but had i known i needed it i would have bought it from wingstuff when i bought the hitch. no biggie still very, very satisified. |
| I'm over 6'. The 4.5" allow me to lower my pegs so I can strech out. With the 6" the highway pegs were scraping before the footpegs. |
| I have an '06. I had problems getting the positive to tighten down. The bolt holes don’t line up between the connectors and post. The posts are offset on the battery. It was very difficult to hook up with my batter tender cable and my synergy cable. |
| The product looks great but was very difficult to install. The installation bolts did not line up with the original extension mount holes which had to be elongated with a Dremel. Also difficult to work my fingers between the tire and the fender so it had to come off. Kuryakyn's estimated 20 minutes turned into 2 hours. |
| Certainly worth the purchase. The OEM line is too small if you're planning on connecting to a handlebar mounted device. I am using this to connect to a Garmin GPS on a RAM-Mount. |

Daniel, I also just purchased these from Wing Stuff. I did not have any algnment issues with my template. I also have a 2010 GL1800. Do you have an Airbag model? As for the lower wings set I have not ridden since install but I think they will work out just fine. I will update my post when I have fully tested them. MOnty |

Bought this mid-July 2010 along with the cooling vest, great investment, I can use this or the vest or both together. Cooled up really quickly after total immersion for about 1/2 hour but only lasted about 1 1/2 hours that I can tell (took it off after that, sorry, didn't pay attention to how cool it was) Maybe next time I'll put it in the freezer. I know that I can fold it up and put it in my little storage area on my bike and if it gets hot and I need it, I can pull into a gas station or somewhere and immerse it. Only gave 4 stars because it IS pretty long and I couldn't figure out if the velcro allowed it to stay wrapped around the neck 2x (didn't quite make it) or just allowed the ends to 'stay together' when I put it down into my bra. Unfortunately I left the bag and stuff at the dealer so didn't grab the instructions. Oh well, it worked really nicely, especially in conjunction with the cooling vest. |
| I bought these but haven't installed them yet. I chose to try the aquarium clear tubing instead. The tubing seems to be holding up pretty well and doing the job. I just did not want to drill any holes into the trunk just yet. When the tubing wears out (if it does), I will use these instead. |

It SAVED me on a long hot ride from South County OC over to Temecula and Palomar in mid-July 2010. I'd heard about them but thought they were for those hard core cruisers who rode hundreds and hundreds of miles thru the desert, or had to have all the new gadgets for riding. NOPE. This is about SURVIVAL. I decided to buy one on the advice of our Chapter President and I LOVE it. My core felt cool, & if my core felt great then I didn't mind the heat on my legs so much. It lasted definitely for 1 1/2 hours, then I re-soaked it for the next hour's trip. You probably need to soak it completely for at least 1/2 hour in a big baggie, but I poured water over it when I was wearing it in Oceanside and I was actually COLD in 85 degree weather while in traffic on the 5 fwy north thru Pendleton! I HAVE to buy one for my husband. I also bought the wide cooling tie, which felt great. Hey, for the money I spent, it was STILL cheaper than a $100 co-pay to Palomar Trauma Center for heat exhaustion or even heat stroke. NOW I know why all those bikers wear all their gear and deal with it fine! |

A bright light worth adding to the back of the bike. I installed this below my plate on a chrome sheet that I used on an older GoldWing. I mounted the light directly on the chrome plate after drilling a few holes. The black bracket shown in the picture is optional, so I removed it. There were no directions with this but only information about which wire connects to the harness on the bike. You do have to splice directly into the harness on the bike. These run all the time on my bike. The brake part does not work - which means when the brake is applied, the lights remain bright and do not flicker. No problem though, I am satisfied with the bight light this adds to the back of my bike. |
