Great addition. Reflexs the lighting very well.
Looks great!!! This was the last item to complete chroming the sides. Had trouble lining the holes up and had to expand the holes.
I bought this set over a year ago then forgot about it. I recently installed it in an Arai Quantum helmet I've owned for years. Just got back from a 2000K run and I can honestly say that it is the best sounding headset I have ever owned. I recenly bought a Nolan flip up helmet with J&M Elite installed. This inexpensive set in the Arai sounds much much better than the Nolan combo. Highly recommended.
Wow. Put these on yesterday then went on a 100 mile run. Saying it's smooth is an understatement. There's an odd feeling when dipping into the turns now that's hard to describe. It's almost like the bike had decided to stop fighting to stand upright and glides through turns effortlessly. As I said, it's tough to describe the sensation, but there's no denying it's there.
I have the tubing in the trunk lid seal but decided to add these also. After fitting, if your lid is hard to close, remove the trunk lid lock loops and elongate the holes. This allows you to pull the loops down away from the trunk lid and adjust the pressure required to lock the lid. This way the bumpers are still full height and prevent chaffing without requiring to slam the lid.
I've had these and the hand wings on two Goldwings. They (or their equivalent for the next gen 'wing) will be on everyone I own in the future as well.
If you have put the other chrome pieces on then these are the finishing touch. They balance the rest of the chrome and cover that dull look that comes with the bike.
This one I put in the faring pocket. A must have for the chargers for the phone etc. Fite very well and does the job. Takes up no space at all in the pocket.
I put this one on because of the protective rubber inserts. These pieces are beautiful and make the bike shine. I really like the look.
If you have the chrome license plate holder you have this :). If you don't have this, you have to get one, it really gives the back of the bike a "finished" look.
If you add chrome you have to have these covers. They look great and dress up the bike well. Nice addition for my "chrome fix".
I bought the backrest that attaches to the handles and with the arms that hold it in place the wife took one long ride with me and said it was the most uncomfortable thing she ever had to put up with. Needless to say that one is for sale, used twice. I now have this backrest on the bike and it works very well. If I were riding alone I would have kept the other one. I liked how it felt. Stronger and more support. But for riding 2 up this one works very well.
