| I ordered the backrest and it stayed in its box for a couple of weeks while I worked up the nerve to do the install myself. As it turned out, I really didn't have anything to worry about. I took my time; watched the install video a few times; read and reread the instructions; took a deep breath and went for it. The seat looks and feels great. A must have! |
| No problem installing. Before drilling...something didn't look right so I made my own template. Great for directing or deflecting air as needed. Only problem is they tend to crack easily. Have had to replace both lower shields within first year. Be careful not to tighten too much. |
| Great for cold weather and rain...keeps both off the shins. I live in Houston and during the intense heat I remove them as they block air movement making it hotter on the legs. I put the deflectors under the mirrors too and they work great in both cold and hot weather to either deflect the cold and rain or allow air flow. |

| Now that I have the set I wonder how I managed without them. No more looking for an item as I used to do with my other bikes as you see it thru the mess. Very easy to install. Great Product! |

| REPLACED THE OEM DUNLOPS WITH THESE ABOUT 500 MILES AGO, AND THE DIFFERENCE IS DRAMATIC. I NO LONGER FEEL LIKE I'M ON ICE WHEN THE ROAD IS WET OR WHEN I HAVE TO VENTURE OFF THE PAVEMENT. INSTEAD, I FEEL LIKE I'M RIDING ON RAILS - VERY SMOOTH RAILS! OBVIOUSLY, I CAN'T SPEAK TO THE MILEAGE YET, BUT IF IT IS AT ALL REASONABLE, I'LL BE STICKING WITH BRIDGESTONES. |
| If you have J&M ya gotta have this.... BUT J&M has to do some quality work on the wire connections & strain relief at the RT angle end. I have gone thru three in the six months since May 2010 KEEP your RECEIPTS... J&M will do warranty replacement |
| I have the blcak painted ones and have been riding for 6000 miles and I'm impressed with how smooth and relaxed I ride, some of mi group of riders in Miami Wings FL2-E got them and also think that are a great addition to the bike. |

| At this point, I can only give 3 stars. No problems with the hardware, but did have problems with the comfort. Had my risers installed yesterday by Honda dealership. Took it for a ride and started having a new pain in neck and upper back! Can't understand why. Put the standard risers on as I am 6' tall with long arms. Anyone else have this problem I initially? Does it/will it go away or get better? |
