I bought these because I didn't want the extra light and they look fantastic. I used extra silicone to help with the install!
Very nice look, I used some clear silicone adhesive to assist in the install and taped it down overnight.
I love the look. I used a thin coat hangar wire to fish the wire up to the signal. Install was easy!
I had to install this twice. Bad OEM tape. Get a roll of the outdoor two sided tape and clamp it down over night with rags and small plastic clamps.
Easy install, weak heat. In fact, I can't really feel it. Maybe it keeps the grips from getting cold but not much heat. Lucky I'm in CA and don't really need the heat. Grips are thick and really nice with the palm swell add on.
I liked this look so much, I set mine up just like it!
Must have!!!
I don't like these. All you have to do is buy a roll of 2.5mm fuel hose at the auto parts store and get a can of WD40. Open your trunk, find the slit in your lid wx stripping, squirt WD49 in both side with the red hose extension, coat the fuel line with WD40 and slip it in each direction until it reaches the rear corner(s) and cut it off. Do not route the hose past this rear corner. If you do, the lid won't close without slamming it. If you leave the rear part as is, you can close the lid as per Honda recommendation. I.E. gently pushing down on the back seat rest. It puts a lumen inside your existing wx stripping and gives it life again. It works GREAT! No holes, no hassles!
Nice product, nice price!
Great product, easy install
Installation issue. On the pair I got I had trouble mounting the spring and pp plate. You are required to remove a spring and bearing from your sock set. Then you have to use these parts on this new set. I had to make a small spacer out of a bolt end to get enough spring tension on the bearing. Without this the peg would not stay in the upright (stored/no passenger) position. It may have been a set that missed quality control at Kury as the holes were drilled too deep. They work fine now but I;m not sure it was worth all the time it took me to get it right. I do rebuild things for a hobby. My wife LOVES them!!!!
