| used the tire plugger a couple of days ago on a nail hole. Had to dig the nail out with needle nose. Ran the rasp in and out several times.... I did have a bit of trouble the first two times injecting the rubber into the tire seems the mushroom rubber wasn't retaining enough of the package silcone stuff on it. finally got that worked out and made a nice seal no bubbles at all. The little mushroom rubbers are very stretchy and soft. This thing would certainly get you home after a simular repair.... up to you if you want to leave it in or patch from inside etc. Thumbs up from me |
