The faster I go the more impressed I am with these beads. After installing a new dunlop elite III tire on the frony of my 1995 wing I drove to a local parking lot to scuff it up doing figure 8s. I hit the road and it was smooth as silk. Beads or bust from now on!!! |
| I have just order these & I hope they come a pair cause I will be very upset if there are not ..... |
| looks good...sure would like a web based version of the ETM with links. Anyone else? |
| Nice compact size, and it seems to work well. |
| Easy to install in the trunk lid. I use it to charge my cell phone. |

Fortunately I have not had an occasion to use these straps. I keep two sets in the saddle bags in case of a break down. They appear to be of good quality. |
| This lead worked very well on my GL1800. Plenty of lead length to plug in the battery tender. |
| Took me about 45 minutes to install on my '89 GL1500. Very good quality and precise instructions. |

After reading all the reviews, I decided to try these bumpers. BUT, I mounted them in the lid top, instead of the trunk bottom. I did this to prevent the leaning contact and breaking. I just reversed the spot where they would mount in the trunk bottom, adjusted a little for full mount surface in top, removed the top lid plastic liner, and drilled the holes. Everything mounted just fine. I just did this a week ago. So give me some time to see if any issues develope in the future. |
| Easy install. No problem taking off the lining (pull slowly and evenly). I appreciate the piece of mind on the added protection, and SURPRISE, there is a clearly noticeable stability difference when passing trucks. So it must also be better in crosswinds, but with the 60 mph gusts we've been having around here lately, nothing would help! |
