I got these to add a little bling to the cockpit area. They went on easy and acually fit tighter than the stock black ones which fell off every time I washed the bike.
This was easy to install and took only seconds. Looks great but after a couple of years the trim is peeling away from the tape. Now I have to carfully pry it off and re-tape it. They either need better tape or curve the trim to match the fairing curvature better.
Quick and easy to install. Adds a little flash to the all black dash.
Easy to install and they brighten up the solid color fairing. Been on the bike 2 years and they still look great! If you want to start chroming out your wing I suggest this is where you start.
This was the final touch I needed on my baby. The install was pretty simple however, I did have to get my wife out to help me hold in place to align the screws.
the install was easy enough. However, neither swide will fully disengage without pushing them forward. I should have paid more attention to the prior reviews. They look good but that is about it. I am going to return these and try the GL1800 ones.
I just installed these in less than an hour. All you need is a phillips screwdriver.Replaceing the color matched molding with the chrome ones helped add a little flash to an otherwise boring part of the wing. Fit and finish are top notch.
I purchased these for visibility. And they accomplish that well. Bright LED's light up the road to the rear. The big Wing should be easy to see from the rear, but I liked the idea of even more lighting. I installed these during a major tear down of the bike for several options that I was installing so install for these was relatively simple. The trunk LED's hooked up easily with the wiring harness and are wired to the running and brake likes. So when I hit the brakes, I got a whole bunch of flashing lights to the rear - should get a lot of attention. The saddle bag LED's were slightly tougher to wire as the wire colors in the instructions didn't match up with my wire colors on the Wing. Tough a little experimentation, but I got them wired. However, they are not hooked up to the brake light. Be careful not to over torque the screws on install as you could break the plastic. Love the look, feel safer on the road, can't ask for much more. Oh, one other thing, the LED's can be pushed in after install so that they are recessed into the molding. I placed strong tape on the inside of the moldings to more securely retain the LED's in their correct position. Silicon glue or other fixes could work even better.
I'm only 5'9" and my wife is 5'3". We have a custom Corbin seat that sits lower than oem. I wanted a little more height but I really wanted to have some options to adjust the height. I was very glad to read that the tall 4" above stock option was NOT able to adjust. It is always in the tall position. I ordered the 2" and it works very well. All the way down for just me and then elevated with my wife. The velcro strip is visible so be very careful installing it!! This is a great product and the owner and his wife couldn't be nicer or more helpful. We are very happy!
I can take my hands off the bars and ride straight without the shakes, coudn't go 50 feet with out the shakes b4 the balancers. I've spent 5k on my wing you may not see the bling but u get the ride.
Adds a touch of class ..A must have
Dashboard and remote protection , a must have
