The windshield fits the bike like the stock windshield but is a little harder to adjust. Others have said it flexes quite a bit but I haven't seen that, its no worst then the stock one for sure. The buffeting is much better then the stock shield and somewhat quieter.I look over it by 2-3 inches,I'm 6'0 and my so is 5'0.I will recommend this shield with the understanding its not a cure all.
Installed these on my 2010 Goldwing with heated grips. The install was easy ... about 15 minutes ... just use a little dish washing soap (a couple of drops) on your finger to help get the rubber sleeve into the slots ... they pop right into place! Very comfortable grips ... the stock grips are so tiny!
Absoutely correct everyone! Honda should have included this from the factory! Other than that, very easy to install ... took about 15 minutes ... works like it should. The rubber cover is great for making sure nothing gets inside the socket that shouldn't. The only suggestion I would have is to position the socket so the rubber cover pulls down from the top and lays on the bottom of the side pocket when in use ... it is much easier to remove and put back on this way.
The best driver backrest on the market. I have had four over the years from a Valkyrie through three Goldwings. My most recent Goldwing has the heated seat ... no problem with the installation as long as you follow the instructions staying away from the wiring in the seat.
The Wife absoutely loves these! Taking the stock boards apart and using the spring & ball bearing in the Kuryakyn set is a pain. You have to get just the right angle to slide it all together ... for that, I only give 4 stars. Honda has a patent on the spring & ball bearing assembly in their stock passenger floorboards so they can't be duplicated. Just be patient with it and they will slide together.
First thing I ordered for my new Goldwing. I had a set of these on my last Goldwing. After selling it to buy a new Goldwing, the first thing I missed was the floorboards and heel / toe shifter. Very easy to install! The only tedious part is installing the new brake pedal ... making sure it lines up properly without pushing on the brake light switch. Just be patient and it will go on like it should.
Good product.. install brake pedal as noted on image... this will minimize your brake pedal travel and provide more "grab" than available with stock pedal. Also, both the heel and the toe shifters should be "loctite" and tightened well, as they might work themselves loose, and Kuryakyn does not sell them separately, however, you might get them from tech support for $12.00 and $10.00 shipping :-( Further, shifting might take some getting used to, especially toe shifting when wearing steel toed or combat boots. Helps on long rides with foot positioning - and might supplement highway pegs for added comfort - additionally, they look great - RL

Got the bearings on the bike and even with the tires messed up from the stock junk bearings my wing is now smooth and the shakes are gone at all speeds.I will be sending the old bearings back to Honda with a nice letter.I had reported the problem with them at 3500 miles. They should atleast give the cost of the bearings back and should get labor also but that will never happen because I am not A CERTIFIED CLUELESS MECHANIC.Anyone can do this if you are able to change the oil in your auto. |
GREAT PRODUCT- USED ON 3000 MILE JULY TRIP, KEEPS DRINKS COLD FOR 3-4 HOURS IN SUMMER HEAT- DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
Great cover for the price.
Easy to install and helps keep the cold air off your hands.
If your traveling long distances at any temperature I highly recommend these. I commute 600 miles every weekend year round and being able to redirect air flow makes a huge difference.
