Although it is plastic, 5 stars for the fit and looks. Measures 8" across, so bigger than I expected. Accents the trunk area well in conjunction with the chrome Kury LED trunk light moldings on my 08' Nice piece! |

Now this definately gets 5 stars, STURDY METAL PIECE that is worth the money and the fit is perfect. Will see how the finish holds up based on the dirt and grime it will expectedly encounter. Very happy with this well-priced, quality, piece of wing-bling! |

4 stars as it is just plastic and not sure how well it will stay adhered to the bike as the curvature does not fit exactly ..... the ends of the trim have to be pushed down to make contact with the surface of the bike, so hoping it will stay attached. Would have given 5 stars if this were a metal piece, and could better justify the price, but happy with the looks. |

| Big, sturdy, good construction, looks great. Will definitely fill a cargo gap on a ride. Can't wait to put it to full use when I head out on some longer x-country runs. The rain cover is integrated in its own compartment and is permanently attached by a cord making it unlikely that you will ever lose it due to wind or inattention. |
| Got these on the recommendation of a friend. Quality appears to be great if you're going to base it on weight. Feel heavy duty and love the look. A little vague on the instructions and missed a few ques here and there but got them on. It's great being able to rotate the position of your legs on a long run. Adjustable to your liking, too. |

Just finished installing these. Let me say, they'll hurt your eyeballs if you look directly in them. I'll have to do a night run, for a true darkness test. As for the quality of the item, it's very nice. Nice machine work, well thought out. The install was really straight forward although I was missing a couple of pieces and a quick call to E/C and they're on the way to me. I substituted the missing pieces 'till I get them. They even give you a cool little soldering gun in the kit for "Burning" holes in the gussets for spring retension. Once you do the install, they're perfectly centered in the opening of the cowl. You can aim them up or down for slight adjustment if need, right from the front of the bike. As far as the kit, and quality and customer service, I'd do it again in a heart beat. Scott |
| I did not install them myself. had it done by a pro. I love the look as with most Kuryakan stuff. Had a hard time finding a position that allowed me to place my feet on them unless legs are still bent, but I can extend my leg over them pretty comfortably and it helps. Afterall, if you have long legs, the Wing does not allow for a long comfortable ride unless you can move your legs around and change positions occasionally. these allow that, so I gave them 4 Stars |
| UPDATE: Two things to add since my review on the F4 +4 below. 1) Got caught in a drizzle a few days ago and glad to report that the rain water just beaded up and rolled off as advertised. 2) Wrote to F4 Customs in regard to the small scratches in the upper left corner of the windshield and if there was any way to remove them or polish them out. Dave, one of the sons and VP of the company got back to me on the same day stating that there is a glass coating on the windshield and the scratches cannot be removed. He offered complete replacement of the windshield at no charge or a fair rebate on the current windshield. As the scratches were out of the way and a minor annoyance only not detracting from the visibility to any degree, I decided that it was worth the compensation for the imperfections over removal and re-install of another windshield. Dave went on further to say that if I ever had any concerns or problems with the F4 to contact him for follow up. I have to say that F4 Customs has great customer service and I would recommend their product and their service. |
| Just installed the windshield and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I took about 45 min to an hour to do the install. I think watching the install video on YouTube several times before changing the windshield made a big difference. After installing I sat on the bike and could immediately see the difference. Planning on trying it out on the road this weekend and I will post my results after my ride. |
| Received this product last week and installed in under 20 minutes total. The installation instructions were right on point and easy to follow. They work as advertised and I highly recommend them if you do a lot of riding in cold weather. The stops that were added are also a nice touch. Keeps the wings from being pushed around too far by strong gusts of wind from trucks and the like. |
| What a wealth of information. If it's on the bike, it's in the book. For those wondering, it does have info in there for post-2008 models. The airbag and XM radio stuff is in there as well. Not sure how in-depth those parts are, 'cause I won't need them. But it is in there. Ride safe. |
