I saw this windshield at the Tulsa Wing Ding (09).I was very impressed by the demo. Then last year at the Wing Ding in De Moines I had the 4" one installed. On my return ride through Wyoming, I could really tell the difference in handling in the wind and rain. Best investment I've made so far.
Having this adds a log of comfort on long rides. Had the dealer install mine when I bought my Wing. Having to take the seat off a couple of times to install accessories, its takes two minutes to put it back on.
Great quality product. Looking forward to reaping the benefits other posters have described with my OEM tires.
Enables a clean connection to other options as in my case my GPS. Good quality product.
Can't beat the price compared to what it costs from a dealer.
Never hurts to replace it everything time you change your oil. Great price too.

This is a well designed product! I bought the bag along with a GL1500 luggage rack for my trip on the Blue Ridge Pwy. I did 1700 miles with it. It is well constructed and works perfectly. It mounts securely and attached and detached easily from the rack. I kept my clean supplies in the side compartments and transferred the clothes I needed each night into the bag to carry in with me. The carrying strap makes it just like carrying a suitcase. The front pockets are great for water bottles and the rear pocket is perfect for all my maps. |
4 STARS FOR THIS ONE -LOCATION OF THE INSTALL WAS NOT QUITE AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN-THIS IS A VERY STRATEGIC INSTALL A VERY SMALL SPACE TO PUT THIS THING WAS VERY DIFFICULT ?? INSTRUCT WAS NOT UP TO SNUFF ON THIS ONE- IF YOU DON'T DO IT EXACTLY (THE DRILLING) YOU ARE LOST FOR A PLACE TO PUT THIS THING IN THE TRUNK AREA ? GOOD PRODUCT THO- LOOKS LIKE A HONDA GINUINE PRODUCT???? FOR THE TRUNK . SO GO GET SOME- !!!!!!!!

Jim, Whether one is a long distant, aggressive or rides only 500 miles @ year. The following is my 45+ riding years opinion. I live on the front range in Colorado and ride my ‘06 Wing year round with PGR. Yes, even with snow on the ground and 10°. The Wing has the Traxxion suspension system (worth every penny, highly recommend)! Also has ABS, Comfort package and NAV system. I log 25K - 30K @ year and am a member of the Iron But Association. I’ve ridden Wings with a “car tire” on the rear. Also have fair experience on “dirt bikes”. I note the great milage of care tires. I also note that one should have their life insurance and will in order. In a critical situation, the bike’s handling is extremely poor. Maintenance of motorcycles can be expensive. I highly recommend staying with a tire designed for motorcycles. Note Wing Stuff doesn’t offer a “car tire” for bikes nor does any other motorcycle supply company. I believe that newer Wings come with Dunlop D250 tires. I run Dunlop Elite 3 on my Wing. The D250 (had them) is ok but the Elite 3 sticks to the road and wears better. With respect to Avon, the tire wears a bit longer but on wet surface becomes more squirrelly than Elite 3. As for your move, you will experience a great culture change! But for your tires, the best I’ve experienced in Arizona and recommend is the Elite 3. NO ONE gets 20+K miles out of any motorcycle tire! The best I ever got was 14K. Note: The mechanic personally sought me out and handed the old tire to me. He ask if I had good life insurance and pointed out the visible cords. The tires were Elite 3. I just plan wore them out. But they didn’t fail and kill me. Recommend you speak with Wing Stuff and your local Honda mechanic, not the service agent. |
This has been the best set of tires on my bike so far. Will be changing them out at 22,000 miles which is the best mileage I got on any set of tires. I do have the dyna beads in them and maybe that is why. They do have a noise in a lean since they are getting wore. I'm ordering a new set now.
Just installed the Vertical Trailer Hitch on my 2009 Goldwing and it is very solid. I am sure I will get many years of service with this unit. Quality product and it was easy to install.
Installed in 1 hour, instructions very good. Rode it with the wife and she was pleased. Stated no issues with wind buffeting. Looks very clear through and I had no scratches on it. Shipping went well. Very well protected. I would buy again.
