Easy to install really makes bike look great. Probally the easiest install I have had.
Good product easy to install (tape a little hard to separate but not that bad) really make the mirror look better
5 Stars all the way. I removed my 4" arms and installed them in about 10 minutes with ease. Gave me just what I need in leg room legs never cramped best ride I have had.
My wife likes them and they look good but only 4 stars because I can't believe that Kuryakn cannot install a .30 cent metal ball and a .25 cent spring when they put them together at the factory. Wasn't hard to install, but for a $175.00 product they should already be installed.
A great safety device for every Goldwing rider! Easy to install and it works great!
After installing these this past season they do work. I was somewhat skeptical at first. I had already had my new tires and wheels balanced with the traditional counterweights. During the beginning I left the counterweights installed. At one point I marked with a pen where the weights were, just in case I would have to reinstall them.I removed the weights and all was well. As mentioned by others the chrome was my choice and you don't even notice them. The installation is a challenge, you'll need to have a way to lift your GW. Smooth and a continued great ride. These do not stop the Gold Wing wobble @ low speeds.

As with everythig for the Wing it's going to cost you. This is a must have product mainly because of the safety aspect - It lights up the back of the bike. I like to do my own installation and the video's that Kuryakyn has started are fantastic. They are way better than the instructions. It took me about 2 - 3 hours to complete the installation, use the video and it will save you a lot of confusion. The negative to the products ( you have to buy both trunk an saddle bags) is that the saddle bags to do not work as brake lights, the trunk does. For that reason only I give this product 4 stars. |
Just installed, they fit real easy and look good. Will have to see how the tape holds up feel really secure right now.
These tires grip the road MUCH better than the original Dunlaps that came on my 09 wing. I put 16,000 miles on the Dunlaps before switching to the Bridgestones. Upon riding with the Bridgestones for the 1st time, it felt like a new bike. Felt solid/ stable on road and especially in the curves etc. Have not ridden in the rain yet but I suspect they will be A ok. The original Dunlaps made me feel like I was going to go down in the rain. I do not mind getting wet, just do not want to go down and eat pavement. I probably will not get 16,000 out of the Bridgestones because they are softer. To me that’s a better trade off (Staying upright). I bought the Bridgestones from Wingstuff dirt cheap, especially since they ran a sale with 10% coupon code a while back. They sat in my garage until I maxed the Dunlaps out down to the wear markers.
I saw this windshield at the Tulsa Wing Ding (09).I was very impressed by the demo. Then last year at the Wing Ding in De Moines I had the 4" one installed. On my return ride through Wyoming, I could really tell the difference in handling in the wind and rain. Best investment I've made so far.
Having this adds a log of comfort on long rides. Had the dealer install mine when I bought my Wing. Having to take the seat off a couple of times to install accessories, its takes two minutes to put it back on.
Great quality product. Looking forward to reaping the benefits other posters have described with my OEM tires.
