Installation was painless thanks to all the comments I found here. Here's my contribution: 1. Was surprised that the allen wrench needed was a 3/32" and not a metric size. 2. Checked and rechecked the front of the grip ensuring I had the right one on the right side. The opening in the front of the right one (smaller opening) seemed better suited for the static grip on the left, while the larger opening on the left grip seemed better suited for the moving throttle grip on the right. 3. Bar clamps made the snapping together a breeze. Those are a most have for this installation. |
| Great boards,look great, yes it would have been nice for them to include the ball and springs. Change over made me curse .Can't wait to get the new passenger cruise pegs so the wife can stretch out the legs.Ball & springs should be included, 4 stars. |

| This is the cheapest piece of chrome plated ABS I've ever seen! For the price, not a good value- place your $ elsewhere. The Chrome would likely show more scratches & wear than the OEM plate over time. |
| Came with the bike when I bought it. I like it my Wife hates it! Her legs hit on the bars and is very uncomfortable for her. I still use it when soloing sometimes and enjoy it, but it is difficult to get on and off, i.e. stretching it open to remove or install from brackets. Do like looks of the chrome bracket under passenger grips and the holes work great for a strapping things on back seat. |

Used it during one of the hardest rainfalls I have ever been in.. Kept the bike dry with no water on the seat or anywhere else..For the price, you cant beat it.. |

| I have had these on the 08 for about 3000 miles now. I did not opt for the fork brace as well but I must say I was skeptical at first. But with this item getting such good reviews from other riders I decided to get them. I was changing tires anyway so what a better time to install them. Funny thing is my local Honda dealer wouldn't put them on because they are not OEM. Needless to say that dealer no longer gets my business. Anyway, unless you install these on your bike it's hard to describe the difference. There are times when I'm on good asphalt and I swear the bike drives itself. I can steer the bike with just two finger tips if I wanted. No more deceleration wobbles no more odd handling. The tires still cup somewhat but nothing like they did before. Maybe the fork brace will be next. But if you have been on the fence on this one...get off it and order them today. It's one decision you'll never look back on and will be happy you spent the money. |
| The wife loves these. She uses caribeaners to hook her purse to them, so she has it handy with the camera and her Ereader. So far not chrome problems. |
