Perfect fit, easy install and great looks. What more can you ask for.
If you have the driver floorboards these round out the look and they are great for your passenger. The passenger can change the position of their feet and stretch the legs out a bit which gives a great deal more comfort for them. Lets face it most drivers have a set of highway pegs to stretch out their legs so help out your passenger and give them the same comfort. Besides they look outstanding.
The Kuryakyn Chrome Passenger Floorboard Side Covers just add to the clean look of my Goldwing...and easy to install. I took off the passenger floor boards installed the side covers in 15 min. Great look---
These stand out more than I originally thought they would. Look great and adds a very nice touch to the bars and grips.
These are a nice addition to the bars and grips. I recommend getting the color rings that go with these. Easy install and they really do look good.
I installed these balancers on both front and rear rims. Installation on the front was fairly simple and I am very pleased with the smooth ride and steering. Installation on the rear tire was even simpler. The only issue that I had was with clearance when putting my tire back into the wheel well. I am running a car tire on my rear (Kumho Ecsta SPT XRP run flat: 195/55/R16) I had to put my tire up into the wheel well first and then slide the dynamic balancer onto the hub, and then mount the tire. GREAT RIDE!
I mounted this this past weekend, easy to mount and Im not a technician. You have to drill four 1/2" holes in the back of your trunk and the Speaker housing which four rubber encased spreadable nuts are inserted to keep the trunk or the speaker housing from busting under use. I think they will work fine, however since they do not have a vertical brace, Im sure they are not as strong as the other time armrests. They will not work in conjunction with the Honda shorty armrests. The wife likes them much more than the shorty Honda ones. I like the way they look when she is not on the bike and are folded up. I always thought the other ones looked like walkers for the elderly. My only concern is if I drop the bike with a passenger will it crack my speaker housing and trunk lid? Oh well, thats why I pay for insurance I guess. They do look good!
To date I have had good results from switching to the Avon Cobra on my front rim. I also installed the centramatic balancers. Smooth ride! :o)
bought the light tint ones for my titanium wing. Just installed them yesterday and boy do they make a differance. Really came in handy we had a cold snap come in and i didnt have the right gloves on but with these wings the wind was deflected enough that it didnt matter. Word of causion dont over tighten bolt that screws into the bottom of mirrow.
pretty handy item. easy install. You loose the ability to pu your helmey in the trunk with this item but i knew this when i purchased it.
Unfortunately, one of the easiest ad-ons yet turned ugly due to Big Bike Show Chrome's extremely poor quality & attn to their injection molding processes. I bought these as part of my 2010 GL1800 package & the hole bosses were too thin. When I torqued the OEM screws, all three allowed the part to rattle loosely on the bike- had to return to dealer. We 'miked' (micrometer) other units on their shelf, same problem w/ dimension tolerances (a bad die & mold lot???). I ordered Kury's from Wingstuff- hopeful no repeat problems.

Excellent look on the bike and a fair price for what you get. I have bragged on the instructional video's but there is a reason that this one dose not show pulling the wire up to the mirrors. It is a pain in the you know what. Well worth the outcome but get you a hanger and some tape and be patient. NOTE: The ends for the wire connected to the reflector is in the bag with the wire wraps. I know that I can't be the only one that got all the way to the end before I realized they were there. |
