Wing Deflectors™ Mirror Mount Hand Air Deflectors

Finally got them put on.
Ok, so there's one thing that I'm not entirely sure about with these and that's the fact that they replace the screw that goes into the bottom of the mirror itself, but given the configuration, thats really the best way to bolt them on short of drilling holes. The instructions say to add loctite though which I did, so it shouldn't be a problem. The difference between having these and not having them when it's 20 degrees F out is night and day. My finger tips no longer get the blast of wind even through my gloves. They are great.I would recommend them to everyone. The position "ratchet" system is the basic plastic gear type on plastic gear type that holds it in place, and it works nicely to hold them in place even up to about 90 mph (that i've tested). over all, A+ |

This book is thicker than the Haynes one for my car. There's lots of good information in it including a CD with supplements for the 2006-2010 years and good color wiring diagrams. A must for anyone doing work on their own bike. |

Installed it myself in 20-34 degree weather within about 4 hours. All in all, it wasn't too hard to install. Just take your time and read the instructions. Oh, and the instructions came with pictures. Granted it was of a 2012 bike, but it installs the same either way. It's sturdy and looks good. Also, the tire clearance is great. I have a CT and I had no problems. there's about 4 inches between the hitch and the tire. Get the plug & play harness that separates your bikes electrical from the trailers electrical, you'll be glad you did. |

One of my original dampers (black OEM Honda parts) fell off after I installed my heated grips. I guess I didn't get them tight enough. Any ways, I got these to replace the lost part. They go on easily enough. I mean it's not that hard to tighten a screw. They look better on my bike than I expected and they really help with vibrations. Tip: be sure to use some lock tight or something and make sure the bolt is good and tight otherwise they will probably perform a disappearing act. |

I would and have been recommending these to other riders in the area. I put these in my new tires during the mounting process and the ride is very smooth. It doesn't completely get rid of the "goldwing wobble" but it does reduce it a little. Very worth the money. |

I put these tires on my bike and it's like new. The old tires (Dunlop E3's) were good, I didn't have a problem with them but they were a little square after 10,000+ miles so I decided to try another brand of tire. If I can get the same 10-15k miles out of these tires I will probably buy them again. The combination of these with dyna beads makes the ride as smooth as glass. |
