I really like these lights and consider them an upgrade compared to the stock reflectors. That said, I do wish the color was closer to the lights in the trunk side reflectors. These skew more magenta while the trunk lights skew more orange. Fitment is CLOSE. Close enough for sure. But not as good as the stock reflectors. I needed to loosen the light housing and force it into place before tightening it back up, and even then the gaps are not as clean as the original equipment. Installation was easy enough. You’ll need to drill some holes and buy some splice connectors to power these. Would be nice if the connectors were included in the kit. Overall I’m happy with these lights, but fit and finish, as well as the lack of required splice connectors, lose it a star.
This light directly replaces the center reflector on the back of the GL1500 below the license plate. The Installation instructions are very straightforward and no drilling or custom wiring is required. This plugs directly into the left or right tail light harness. Took me 10 minutes to install. All you need is a flathead, phillips, and an 8mm crescent wrench. It is slightly brighter than the brake lights.
I bought this kit to match when installing the turn signal mirror.
best for safety and quality
This is a great way to fix Hondas poor attempt of a helmet lock it's a must have.
Way over priced for what you get. The only positive is OEM parts. Does not come with new seal lock rings or anti dive orings or dust boot. Description says every thing you need to rebuild both forks, yet comes with nothing for antidive valves. Would not recommend at this price point. There are cheaper alternatives that do the same job.
I actually "recycled" the original set from my 2001 Valkyrie Interstate. After some serious "Dragon Rash" and some shrinkage in my leg length(??), I decided to treat myself to a new set. Love 'em!! Probably gonna stay away from the "Dragon" at this stage of my life.
This thing stays put. I live in a pothole city and I haven't yet had to worry about my phone falling out of it.
Arrived gapped and ready to go!
I will start with my usual complaint about the instructions being inadequate. Fortunately the video makes up for that plus some. The parts all fit perfectly, and the finish product is very nice and very comfortable.
These deflectors look like they belong on the bike. My only complaint is the instructions are a little vague. I had a terrible time getting the top screw in each side. It was very difficult to align properly. I ended up using an awl to get the alignment correct.
Ok I own a 2022 GW Tour. I had no problem installing the belly pan. Everything fit perfectly. My pan came to me on June 2, 2023. It took me 30 minutes to install. Not sure why other users are having trouble installing the pan. I’m thinking wing stuff made some modifications on the later pans so the pan fits better. I purchased the pan to protect the under carriage of my bike. In my opinion it will do the trick but the thickness of the pan appears a bit thin. I don’t anticipate bottoming out the pan but this is pretty good insurance should something occur that is out of my control. I feel better that I bought the pan. It gives me peace of mind. The price I paid for the pan is well worth it.
