There was one of these on my bike when I bought it. I had no problems with it (always tight) so I bought another for the second antenna. Had no problem mounting it, except that the jam nut stayed on the top part of the antenna, instead of the bottom section as indicated in the instructions. Took me about 20 minutes to install with some trial and error to get it just right. However, it constantly came loose and needed to be tightened every time I get off the bike. Shortly after mounting the second pole, I noticed the chrome starting to peel on the original. Got tired of tightening the second one, so I took it off and used the pole to replace the chromeless one. So now I'm back to one flagpole. Too pricey for the quality ($60+!!), and I can't recommend this product. |
After a set of Dunlop Elite III's I now have the Avons front and rear. So far I love them. They have fantastic grip and they do not make the corner noise the Dunlops made. I know they handle great because I am getting into the corners with more confidence and scraping my feet more than with the last tires. I'm hoping to get 12,000 miles on the rear and will add a report when I use them up. Great price as compared to other vendors. Excellent tires and they were at my door step in 3 business days. I had them filled with Nitrogen and the stems replaced at Power Sport Honda in Albuquerque west off I-25 on Montano to Renaissance Ave. Great service! Now I'm set for the summer season--->
I love it, so easy to install and it works great. This product should come with every Goldwing Honda makes. This is the third one I've had. Thanks WingStuff for the fast delivery and great price.
I put this in my 2009 gold wing after 17000 miles and it does shift much smother I will use this oil from now on Thanks Wings for the Great Price.

Nice piece of protection. WATCH OUT FOR THE SHARP EDGES. I'd read the reviews, and was watching for it. A small file will dull them some before install. But they will still get you if you're not watching. The instructions weren't all that great, but then again, they didn't have to be. Pretty simple to figure out even without the instructions. One thing I have noticed, my fan seems to kick on more frequently slow riding, or stop and go driving. All in all, gives some piece of mind about something hitting the bottom. |
this is a must have combined with the center cover its got the wow factor
Replaced my stock oil drain plug with this during an oil change. Noticed a small amount of material on the magnet when I changed the oil the next time around. Not a significant amount but I very pleased it wasn't circulating through the oil as I was riding. Well worth the investment for the peace of mind if nothing else.
Installed this to protect the coolant tank. Easy to install and the forward panel removes quickly and easily when changing the oil.
High quality product, as expected. Did the filter change during the week at nights after work. Went well. Had 12k miles on my Wing and filter was dirty, could have went longer but wanted to follow the owners manual. While I had it apart, installed the CB and MP3 player also. Great results, glad to have done the work, learned alot about the Wing.
Great product, directions are not as clear as they could have been, but figured it out. Does what it states it will do. I agree with others, should come with the spoiler.
Bought this product last week. Color slightly off (darker) from my 2008 wing. Color code is correct. May be because my wing is 3 years old. Parked side-by-side with a 2010 Wing the other day, my wing is slightly lighter. Directions are written well. Quality of product is first rate. Lesson learned: Should have bought the spoiler same year I bought my Wing.
