Great bag for times when you need extra stuff, I wouldn't put alot of heavy things in it just because the trunk rack may not handle the load
I have used these grips on my GoldWings for over thirty years and have found them to be the most comfortable on the market, especially since I now live in Yuma Arizona where the sun always shines. While they are long lasting they do wear out eventually and it's a struggle getting the old ones off but most everyone can do it without a great deal of effort. Then install the new ones according to the instructions. I recommend this product.

Kudos to Wingstuff for a good selection of three different risers, as folks will have their own needs. My problem was that I'm tall, grips were hitting my thighs when turned. Problem solved, these are GREAT! The other (more expensive) risers have more spread and setbacks configuration options but none of them move the bars up as far. That's all I wanted, and these deliver more rise at a fraction of the price. For once, I got off easy. The little plastic spacers go under the mouse ears handlebar cover when reinstalling. I suggest gluing them to the mouse ears so you or your shop don't lose them the first time you disassemble again, even if you manage to not lose them when installing. For those concerned about cables, don't be. At the mounting point, this is only raising the bars a 1/4" or so - no problem. Pardon the obvious (to some) - it works by changing the angle of the bars. |
great for the price you can't go wrong buy it
easy install great for rain gear, camera and stuff well done wing stuff
great cover better then a full one. takes less room when packed and you don't need to take it off when you need something out of the side case's
A blind man could install them very simple look great feel great
Just received this today and I am extremely pleased. Feels well made, compactable and worth its price. I already laminated the instructions just in case that first one is in the rain..Ha. A must have to get you back onto the road during that outing. I also ordered the compactable air compressor as well which is a no brainer. Thank you WingStuff!!!
3 stars for Instructions. There is another bolt on each side of side covers, (10 mm)that has to be removed to slip the pan over bolts. Found them on www.hdlparts.com in muffler section. After that, everything fell in place. You'll have to loosen front cowl also to get to bolts. I also replace reserve tank before installing belly pan. Looks good.
I am interested in fitting these because of the height adjustment we currently have the Kromeworks arm rests which are a bit too high for my wife. Does any one know if these can be adjusted lower than what we already have. Or if someone could set theirs on th elowest and provide a measurement from the base of the speaker grill that would be great, thanks
A must for the matching ISO Kury grips. Felt a significant amount of relief in my right hand because I no longer had to maintain a constant and tiring force on the thin factory grips. Prior to this, my hands could become cramped, tingly, painful, or all of the above while riding about. Now the just weight of my hand/palm keeps the bike going without effort.
Relatively simple install. Had no problem slipping the sleeve over the stock grips, a little effort was required to mate the snaps of the chrome pieces. Looks good and is more comfortable that the skinny stock grips. Word of caution: this is a BIG grip so if your hands are smaller in size these might be too much. It seemed a bit longer to heat up, but I could definitely feel the comforting warmth of the grips after I turned them on.
