A blind man could install them very simple look great feel great
Just received this today and I am extremely pleased. Feels well made, compactable and worth its price. I already laminated the instructions just in case that first one is in the rain..Ha. A must have to get you back onto the road during that outing. I also ordered the compactable air compressor as well which is a no brainer. Thank you WingStuff!!!
3 stars for Instructions. There is another bolt on each side of side covers, (10 mm)that has to be removed to slip the pan over bolts. Found them on www.hdlparts.com in muffler section. After that, everything fell in place. You'll have to loosen front cowl also to get to bolts. I also replace reserve tank before installing belly pan. Looks good.
I am interested in fitting these because of the height adjustment we currently have the Kromeworks arm rests which are a bit too high for my wife. Does any one know if these can be adjusted lower than what we already have. Or if someone could set theirs on th elowest and provide a measurement from the base of the speaker grill that would be great, thanks
A must for the matching ISO Kury grips. Felt a significant amount of relief in my right hand because I no longer had to maintain a constant and tiring force on the thin factory grips. Prior to this, my hands could become cramped, tingly, painful, or all of the above while riding about. Now the just weight of my hand/palm keeps the bike going without effort.
Relatively simple install. Had no problem slipping the sleeve over the stock grips, a little effort was required to mate the snaps of the chrome pieces. Looks good and is more comfortable that the skinny stock grips. Word of caution: this is a BIG grip so if your hands are smaller in size these might be too much. It seemed a bit longer to heat up, but I could definitely feel the comforting warmth of the grips after I turned them on.
A must have piece of chrome -- so much better than the ugly dull gray that the bike comes with. Had a heck of time in the install, though. A couple of bolts just refused to come together without a lot of effort.
It's a nice piece of trim, but the adhesive strips should extend further out to the tips. I anticipate that one day I'll be washing the Wing and a fragment of my washer's mitt will snag under one of the tips and break this otherwise fine ornament. So I'm giving it a one-star reduction to four stars, due to lack of adhesion.
Considering that Canada is a metric country, it was comical how difficult it was for me to locate a 30mm hole drill. 1.125" is too small and 1.25" is too large and I wanted a snug fit. Anyway, once the pocket hole is taken care of, the rest is a snap job. Great for all forms of electronics, but particularly those small 12V air pumps that come with the socket plug. No more need to clip the pump to the battery. That's a good thing.
Used this before and it works great but if your going to get it I would recommend the 13 oz can, it last longer for the money.
Put these on the bike and they really look great and the price was right. Thanks
Got these today, no problems installing them, tried the heat and it works just fine, they got hot, very satisfied with the looks and feel. Thanks Kuryakyn and thanks WingStuff for a great price.
